To all my fellow fat people out there: there is no secret thin person living inside of you, desperate to get out. This hypothetical thin person isn’t “the real you”. You’re fat. The real you is fat. And that’s okay.
#feel free to ignore my addition if you want#it is important to start with body neutrality and understand what your body does for you and appreciate it for that#personally though i understand that accepting fatness -- accepting yourself as you are now and getting on with your life#is much healthier than trying to be skinny#totally blowing up the idea that fatness isn't healthy#it's not about that it never was#so if accepting being fat is good then i am willing to give all the fanfare#the fanfare that everyone else is too afraid to produce#and also i'm finally getting fatter which makes me very happy#sure i fall out of the conventional standard of beauty#but i appreciate my body as a human body with beauty in function#very much tied to that i would prefer to not die if i got really sick and was unable to eat#also if i want to produce a lot of force at once#swinging my hips into it is more effective when fatter#also i feel much sexier with more fat on me -- more to grip and waggle around
