the idea that nothing means anything wasn't as hard to accept,

people talk about the shadow, & I guess that's true if you ain't ill,

but with my psyche, the shadow was close, closer to the abyss:

& due to my own individual psyche, life was already written off,

& I wasn't only expecting death, but I was chasing it & craving it,

the idea that nothing means anything wasn't as hard to accept;

total annihilation of the self was exactly what I was aiming for.
