Prayer for July 3rd

Jesus, you have set me free from all the sins of my life. You have given me an opportunity at a new life. A life of abundance and joy. A life that isn’t marred and scarred by my past mistakes and sin. You have taken those burdens from me and I will live with heaven in mind each and every day. Thank you for setting me free!

Prayer for July 2nd

Heavenly Father we pray for those who are grieving and mourning today. The pain that comes from loss can be devastating and leave lasting effects on anyone. I pray that you would heal them and draw close to them, so they know the love and peace that comes from Jesus. Lord, we pray that the scars can smooth, and each day becomes slightly less burdensome until finally, those who mourn can share the legacy of their loved ones with joy, peace, and gratitude for each moment they had with those who've passed. We pray this in Jesus' strong name. Amen.

Dear God, I have so many choices to make in a day it often feels overwhelming. I know that you have provided me with this freedom to choose and that is a blessing, but I want to make choices that honor you. Show me clearly how my freedom can serve others. Teach me what it means to love my neighbor as myself and to do so willingly. I pray this all in the powerful and unending name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Jesus, I can’t wait for the day to meet you face to face. No longer will I be in this temporary body, but living in eternity with you. I don’t fully know or understand what that will look like, but my soul yearns for it. My heart aches for the day when I can worship you and the Father in the purity of heaven. Loving God, I pray that my actions would always reflect Jesus. Let the meditations of my heart, the thoughts of my mind, and the words of my mouth lead to pure, righteous, and holy actions with my hands. I pray that everything I do could bring you glory. When I get it wrong, please forgive me, and when I get it right, I submit all praise to You. I pray this in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Prayer for June 25th

Dear God, I celebrate my victories with you today! I have made some progress, grown in my faith, accomplished pieces of my dreams, and stood my ground when I needed to. I still have a long way to go, but I can feel the changes that Jesus has made in my life. I look forward to tomorrow and another opportunity to celebrate. I pray this all in the mighty and unending name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer for June 23rd

Heavenly Father, we all struggle with desires to control, but sometimes it is worse than others. Help us to release the illusion of control and surrender our fears, worries, and anxieties over to You. You truly have the whole world in Your hands and You know every hair on our head. There is nothing that surprises You or catches You off guard. Thank You for always being in control. In Jesus’ strong name I pray. Amen.

Lord of all show us how to love one another like Christ loves us. We do not accept the sinfulness of this world in any situation, but we also know we can love without accepting that sin. Guide our hearts and strengthen our faith so that we can bring the Gospel to others. We pray that Christians all over the world would stand united against sin and hatred together in the strong name of Jesus Christ. We pray all of this in his name. Amen.

Lord, I pray that I would never be apathetic towards You, Your commands, or what You are passionate about. Help me to find great joy in living in obedience to your will. Show me the safety and hope within these boundaries and grant me the strength to help others as well. Lord, I was to live a life for purpose, passion, and power. I pray this all in Jesus’ name. Loving God, we pray for strength in a chaotic and strife ridden world. We’re not looking for strength to overcome the enemies, but strength to withstand them. We place our whole trust in Jesus as the Prince of Peace, the final judge, and the ultimate salvation. Calm our fears, remove our concerns, and strengthen our faith to stand firmly amidst the storms that are crashing in. We pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Savior, our hope. Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank you for the friends that you have brought me in our family of faith. There are many people who have been supportive, encouraging, and challenging all because they care. Heavenly Father, help us to love one another. It doesn’t matter if we’re friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, or enemies, as Christians we are called to show love. We want to be an example of the love of Christ, not accepting sin, but not treating others harshly either. We believe that through the power of the Holy Spirit, this is possible. Please guide us in this daunting task in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father in heaven, please help me to reflect all of the fruits of the Spirit. I want to be known for love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. I want to be a person that others know and see as being Christlike. I pray that even in my weakness and brokenness You would be honored. I pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Dear God, I’m not the person I used to be. I’ve changed. My heart, mind, desires, and passions have shifted. My joy is found in Jesus. My hope is present when I look at the cross. No longer do I trust in myself, my desire for control or my strength to carry me through. I place my whole trust in the One who overcame death and sin. I place my whole trust in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Heavenly Father, help us to love one another. Sometimes it is very hard to even like others, let alone love them. We get hurt and offended and the last thing we want to do is to forgive. But you forgave us of our offenses against you. You have shown us that forgiveness and reconciliation are possible and we trust that you will help us to reconcile and love each other. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Father in Heaven, thank you for your messengers. You have sent people into our lives to speak hope, comfort, love, and peace when we need it. Those heaven-sent individuals are a blessing in times of difficulty and an encouragement in times of celebration. We are grateful for the way you use others to draw us closer to your son Jesus.
