Hey guys, I’m not dead! Just busy with life! In my absence, I decided to create a YCH (Your Character Here) animation meme!

This YCH will have a SB and AB, BUT I AM OPEN TO a combination of art & money offers! :D

For the YCH, every character in here will be replaced with the characters of your choosing! While the tweening will mostly stay the same, I am happy to change any facial expression, poses (to an extent), font adjustments/placements, and minor additional animation (animated ears, antennae, etc.). I am open to discussing any further changes! I will say that I am willing to add more if the offer matches the extra bits!

Since I’m new to the WOF community, what are some good fantribes y’all like that I could potentially look at? :0

Preferably open ones, I’m not a fan of semi-open/closed tribes (gives me bad experience flashbacks of closed species back in the day, lmao)

With the adopt officially closed, I have had the opportunity to read over all that you guys have wrote…and man am I in a pickle!

Every story written for this Mudwing was great to read and creative, it took me a good while to pick the fate of this Mudwing!

But after deciding for a good while, this Mudwing has a new name and home…put your talons together for Raupo the Mudwing!

I absolutely loved the story written by @dazzling-raven , the found family aspect of his life after his accident and the happy life he lives now! I also loved his POV of his belief in the prophecy, and what he endured. I’m excited to see what all you do with Raupo, Papya and Guava!

Thank you to all who participated! I’m planning to do batch adopts in the future to allow a greater chance of obtaining an adopt! And if you guys want specific themed adopts or certain tribes, please feel free to send an ask! :D

This fella is a WTA, or Write to Adopt!

The prompt is simple: Write a backstory on how they lost their limbs and anything else you’d like to add about them!

Thinkin’ about a fan tribe idea,,,

A small tribe of large, furred dragons. Descendants of an ancient mix between Icewings and Mudwings.

They have the muscular build of a Mudwing, yet the endurance of cold that an Icewing has.

Icewings have heard tales of this small tribe neighboring their territory, but only large talonprints found in the snow and faraway sightings of these dragons in the coldest of peaks and blizzards aid in these claims.

I might go with the name Yetiwings, but still pondering what these guys may look like fully! :D

Sorry to those that sent in a request and are currently waiting! My only off days are Mondays and Tuesdays and the only days I can really sit down and get to drawing! But it’s wonderful practice to sketch each request out on paper to then be rendered on my tablet!

Next on the list of HC tribe designs is Rainwings! I’ll be doing it not only for one of the requests, but I have an idea of a character from another fandom fitting a Rainwing perfectly :]

Ironing out my Mudwing hc design! Decided to go with a simpler design, something that’s easier to draw and also something I really like!

I decided to go all in on the grippers on the end of the wings (inspired by Gore Magala) and went with a more crocodilian look in terms of their back spikes and build!

Mudwings are my absolute favorite tribe so I just had to knock out their HC design first! I’m currently designing my Mudwing OC/Sona based off my hc design, and I’ll slide in a WIP below! 🧡🤎

I see there are quite a few (the Official one on Spotify doesn’t seem to have accents).

The idea of any of the tribes having accents is interesting though! I think I read somewhere that Tui doesn’t mind audiobooks using accents, but does her best to keep real-world human culture out of the books and tribes, which I respect!

I’m not sure I would assign accents to any tribes per se, but I do like the idea of my WIP Mudwing oc/sona running a farm (breeding cows for consumption like Clay’s mother was originally supposed to when she received two cows for Clay’s egg) wearing a cowboy hat and attire, and having an Southern Accent! :D

Just had a lightbulb go off in my head. What if,,,my hc Nightwing tribe design had star-shaped wings like Gore/Shagaru Magala,,,

I’m playing through Monster Hunter Wilds and the extra hands on the wings on the Gore Magala is so sick!

Might incorporate that design further to some of the tribes that aren’t as proficiently built for flight (like Mudwings) or that could use an extra pair of talons (like tree swinging for Rainwings)!

Idk I just love hands/claws on the hook of wings design smmmmm X]

I have quite a few ideas for some tribes rotating in my little noggin upstairs, so I thought I’d share a bit in written form!

Mudwings🍂

My absolute FAV tribe! They really resonate with me, and even as a kid reading WOF in middle school, Clay was my favorite! I see Mudwings a mix of crocodilian/hippo like, their body more crocodile/alligator built, while their mouths/tusks have hippo features!

Nightwings✨

BATS! I LOVE the idea that Nightwings have more nocturnal creatures features, like bats, and at the very least see in the dark! (Kinda surprised Nightwings didn’t canonically have night vision, seeing as they thrive/blend in the most in the dark/at night.

Still ironing out the rest but I hope to doodle some other ideas soon! And if you want to share any of your ideas, please do!

Hi!! I saw that you're doing WoF OC requests 👀 I have this character!

She's a MudWing named Brazen! She's HUGE (bigger than Morrowseer) and very burly. She's quiet and seems intimidating and reserved, but she's surprisingly gentle and motherly. She adopted a very young SilkWing dragonet who washed ashore <3

She also gained immortality and special powers (long story). She can manipulate the earth and stuff.
