NAME: Allul PRONOUNS: They/Them TIMEZONE: EST CHARACTERS IN THE GROUP: Mika (You are here!) Mélusine New Jersey Camilla Kikuri Architect Rapi Jill Tamamo Cross Lich Ukinami Yuzuha Daitaku Helios
A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF:
I'm Allul! The terrible chronic gacha addict & now part of the creative team. Most of my "writing career" has been either super bad fanfics, skype rp, and forums so I'm still a green compared to some people here on Tumblr. Promise you I'm not intimidating as I may seem (If I even come off as intimidating) and I'm a DM away from blowing your eardrums off about whatever you want or some crazy plotting. I have no idea still how to end these so here's a horse girl

"I-I guess I'll get a little bit of everything. It wouldn't hurt to have a few choices and then go from there." At worst she could hand it off to someone who might've had a bigger appetite then her. Or maybe even an animal who wouldn't get too sick from eating the food put in front of them.
...Though once the thought of feeding someone else did run in Mika's mind did she realize Maria's partner, the horse that she knew felt a little different from what she remembered.

"Come to think about it I don't think I've met Mister Blue like this before. Or well the "actual" Mister Blue that wasn't tiny. You did mention him prior when we first met but they certainly got a bit taller..."
"Same here," Maria says with a nod. "Meat this good was hard to come by. Not unless you minded roastin' mole rats..."
Don't lose your appetite, Mika.
As Maria looks at the various grills, her horse, Mister Blue, licks his lips. He's eager to try out some of the food, since he's as hungry as... well, himself.
"I dunno about you, but if I don't get Mister Blue some prickly pears or grilled carrots or somethin', I think he's gonna start eatin' dirt. You wanna join me?" she asks Mika.

"Me neither. Though I can't say I've ever seen my world from a distance before. Even if I did I have no idea what it looks like from out this far..."
Still it felt strange to see everything from an angle like this before. Wandering around on the surface of the world compared to seeing it this far out was still eye opening. Had it not been for the company she tagged along with today Mika would've no doubt got overwhelmed at the tea party. But the ever comforting sight of the golden individual never failed to calm the student down.

"Not that it's anything special compared to everyone else's. All I hear from people here is that their worlds had all these grand scale things going on. And all I can say mine had was some end of the world event thwarted. Doesn't really reach that same bar..."
selene space station: star-den tea party
EYES GAZE INTO THE STAR RIDDLED DISTANCE, carefully assessing every planet which it sweeps across, yet to no avail. she had been searching for the very planet she came from, having been asked by mika if it were visible. ❝ I cannot see it here, no. Not in this portion of the sea of stars. Perhaps it may reveal itself in another area, ❞ she admits, a shake of her head following thus. it was a shame, having wanted to see what it was that the planet she was born to looks like, but perhaps she may be fortunate still. rather than linger on if it would or not, she lifts up the teacup in her hand, taking a relaxing sip as she turns to look at the young girl sitting not far off.
❝ Are you able to see your own home world among these stars? ❞

"Sure we'll call it a "Halobob" if that works."
It really didn't but for the sake of this conversation she'd allow it. Otherwise an even more absurd nickname might show up in the foreseeable future. And at least that one sounded somewhat bearable

"I don't really know what an "Angel Haven" is either but from what people have told me that's what they call it. Where I'm from we all live in one big city and I don't even think anyone's been outside of it before. Or if anything is there for that matter..."
* Let's Comprise And Call It:"Halobob"
Somehow, that might not catch on as a name...
* I'd Say "Plumlo" But That Only Works If The Halo Is Plum-Shaped/Colored/Flavored
* I'll Keep That In Mind For Future Halo-Havers I Meet * And You're From Earth, Correct? * Not "The Angel's Heaven"?
The way she says it, the phrase may be one of deep significance.

"What? No why would I be mad? They're your friends, you should always try to be spending time with them. Even more so here considering we don't when we could ever be going back home."
Sure she wished equal parts of that time was with her but that was what being a roommate typically entailed. Though she did wish they all had a bigger home so the extra room could go to everyone having their own little space. But that was her own little secret provided everything that did managed to go through easily.
"I'm not too surprised. We have an ocean but there was plenty of land where I'm from that got hit hard by some desertification. Some pictures of places from years ago could be compared to modern ones and you'd probably scratch your head for hours trying to understand how it all happened." Trinity was mostly spared but others weren't nearly as lucky. Another reason to count her blessings instead of waking up to 100+ weather.

"I wanted to take my friends to somewhere like this. A little beach outing to help break up all the wild stuff that happened throughout our school year. I never got the time before I got dragged here but I'm sure they'd both be on board. Unless one of them was already planning it before me..." Still the comment Uzi said did garner an inquiry from MIka realizing yet again just how different their worlds really were.
"How is it? The ocean I mean. Does it live up to what you think or are you going to call it lame or something?"
Even Uzi can admit it's been a nice day. She isn't really the type to just "hang out," but she can make an exception for Mika. She even skipped binging Demon Slayer for this.
"I don't come to this part of the city much," she says, shrugging. "Not my kind of thing. But I guess there's nothing wrong with mixing it up once in a while. And this... it was fun. Y'know for, like human stuff or whatever. And they close this place down in the winter anyways, right? Might as well enjoy it while you can."
Sitting down next to Mika, Uzi frowns as her hand meets the sand. This is literally the first time she's ever touched the stuff, and she shakes the grit from her joints, glancing over at her friend. "Uh? Oh, uh, I guess that's true. I really just... spend a lot of time with N and V. We're still, like, figuring things out, so..."
She doesn't want to talk about that, so she shakes her head. "S-sorry, I didn't mean to, like, ignore you or anything. Y-you're not mad or anything, are you? Sorry, dumb question. I just... It's been a long time since I had friends. When I first met you, I never thought... it'd be like this."
A soft smile settles on Uzi's lips, and she draws her knees up to her chin. "Well, if something falls on you, I'll catch it. Cool telekinesis powers, remember?"
She chuckles to herself, looking out over the ocean. It's a nice view, the sun setting over the waves; the kind of thing humans put on calendars or put up in their depressing offices.
"I never saw the ocean before I came here," she says, tracing angular shapes in the sand. "Pretty much all the water on Copper 9's frozen solid. Weird that it's, like, normal for most people. Cool reminder I live in an apocalypse."

"I'll make sure she doesn't do that then."
Arguably wasn't the worst thing Mika had heard about a pet around here but being poisoned was not on the student's list of things she wanted to happen to her today. Still Mika did break off a small piece to hand off to the scorpion looking creature, petting them with her other hand after it seemed permission was "given"

"They're a lot softer then I thought. I would've sworn it'd feel a bit more rougher but it's the opposite. And you're the one who takes care of them? I've never seen anyone like one before, at least not something a bit more smaller..."
"She does like donuts, but you shouldn't have to give the rest of yours up to her! You can still give her a bite or two, if you want. I'll pick something up for her later."
The girl is kind -- Klara's surprised, and pretty happy that her companion isn't thrown off or frightened away. Skorupi continues to do her little tapping dance at the concept of getting a treat from a new person (cheating, perhaps, exactly what she'd likely wanted).
"You can pet her, if you'd like. She's only poisonous if she stings you."

"Mash I'm grateful for helping me earlier with the horse. But now it's come to this..." Despite the seriousness of the statement Mika picked up her pink foam lance, completely breaking the tension as she turned her head back towards her acquaintance now turned opponent.

"I won't go easy on you alright? I might still not be the best at this whole jousting thing but I'm still playing to win. And I hope you'll do the same!"

"I'm glad you had some free time to take me out here. I wanted to go alone but honestly it felt a bit awkward to be sending up lanterns all by myself." At least compared to all the other places at the festival which felt more suited for someone like Mika. Here however it was a bit more solemn rather then anything she'd call upbeat. But being with someone she did trust helped ease any of those worries

"What did you wish for Miss Tsuru? You looked really deep in thought for awhile there..." Mika said before fashioning one more lantern to hold between her and the au'ra.
"Mine wasn't too special. Just to see my friends again and keep the ones here safe too. Though I thought the two of us would do one more together. I-If you wanted of course."

"Let me get in cover first! How is getting shot at with sand bullets worse then actual bullets?!"
Despite having an extensive history in combat Mika's current record for what amounted to a "joint exercise on the beach" wasn't going so well. Still the match had only started and while her team was holding their own the point count was not nearly as high as she'd like. Which meant doing the one thing the student wasn't particularly amazing at...
Strategizing.. Or more then that hiding behind cover where someone else was taking point against the other two teams.

"So hey I have this wonderful idea if you'll indulge me a bit. Can you give me some cover fire from those people up there? I really need to get some payback against them if you catch what I'm saying.~~"

"You know back where I'm from I barely had any of this stuff Maria. I mean I guess there was some places out there but going out to try and find anything grilled to this extent just never clicked with me..."
Unless someone managed to drag her off to try it with them. But even then neither of the council members would've been on board with the idea and Mika's list of friends wasn't exactly high beyond that...

"Anything you think I should try in particular? I wouldn't know where to begin beyond the desert and fruit..."

"Well it was a long day but I think we managed to see most of what the boardwalk had to offer. Outside of the places that really didn't have much to begin with. Or were closed in the first place..."
Even having a day where absolutely nothing went wrong felt like a blessing in disguise. Especially so on the day off that Mika invited Uzi to finally go out and "hang out" somewhere rather then just sit inside all day and do nothing. Of course she made sure that it was a particularly nice day, cloudy enough that the sun wouldn't cause problems for either of them and the heat wasn't too overpowering. It was a good time full of the two of them dragging each other down to prize stalls, game rooms, and plenty of other attractions for enjoyment.
All to finally end it by relaxing on the beach while the sun began to finally set, giving way to a cool breeze as Mika threw her exhausted self down on the beach.

"You know it's been a minute since we had time like this all to ourselves. Between all your friends showing back up and more problems this place keeps throwing at us having a calm moment at all feels weird. Like the moment I turn away the sky is going to just start falling..."

a bit late as usual but I wanted to throw Mika into some Spiralfes stuff as well! I'll use a wheel to find a activity that (probably) works for them but feel free to like for a shorter-end thread! Gonna cap it at 3 5 for now!
