Between Vigilante and Peacemaker, the Peacemaker show has the autistic homeschooled fudie evangelical to socialist exvangelical anti racist experience pegged. like... me at 20 was a cross between the two. i know that they tried to write Vigilante as a sociopath, but the dude has way too much empathy. its like Dexter tbh. every time they try to write a sociopath they always land on autistic person with an over developed sense of morality. like in the beginning they tried to write Temperance Brenan aka Bones like that, but even before they started to show how she has almost too much emotion (same as Vigilante fyi. the guy is clearly holding shit back) you can tell they were going for the sociopath trope, cuz like, like Father like Daughter, ya know? but no. her dad was legitimately another autistic with a warped and overdeveloped sense of justice... but... yeah. this show is so good just because it makes me feel seen in a way i haven't since Bones.
