During my second to last semester I generically generated a space that would become a series of spaces in a garden - a house in a garden. With this project it reversed the process, I let the garden be the house and the generic space become a void in a house.

For the 9th semester I am working deductively with spaces flowing down a hill. To kick off the process-model I made this sketch for the transition between two spaces while taking up the difference in height still leaving enough room for the lower spaces not to cover the windows of the upper level windows.

From a recent study trip to amongst other sites, Kildeskovshalen (1966-72) by Karen and Ebbe Clemmensen and Dorte Mandrup’s Kvarterhuset (addition 2001). Kildeskovshallen is amazing for the transparency, placement and structure. Kvarterhuset for the space-between-spaces below the glass-box and the niches in the facade.

For my »Furniture for a book« project. It started out with expressive sketches for the chair(?), but I ended up with a very calm piece of furniture drawing inspiration from Mogens Koch and the Shaker societies. It is about the book, not the furniture.

Carsten Thau having a lecture on openings/windows. I heard it before when I was doing my first or second year of bachelors. Now three years on it was giving to hear it again with a new view on architecture.

Exner - Elsted Sognegård (1979-1982). The intruding entrance, between it and the cieling creating an arbitrary space that speaks of the pasing of time, questioning the work as a finished peace.
