For anyone who doesn't feel as if they measure up to their past selves, that they aren't good enough, brave enough or talented enough:

You still have a life worth living and enjoying today. Even though, you're not experiencing your previous circumstances, you do have value. You're not a lesser version of yourself at all.

You'll look back at this lifetime when things are different and you'll remember the simplicity of who you are now. Maybe, back when you were a protagonist (or antagonist or anything in between), you didn't have time to enjoy the little things. You couldn't celebrate birthdays, go on little walks, collect stuffed animals or watch a show while laughing. These things matter too.

Your presence is needed and so precious in this world. I dare say that your life now has just as much value and importance as any of your grand adventures. So have a bit of compassion for yourself. You watch your media and forgive yourself for the mistakes you made back then, you still care about your source; it's important that you do the same with yourself. Your story matters. And your friends and family will still love and embrace you all the same.

struggling with self care? here's a few things you can do to include your f/o in your day to day life to maybe help you out :)

— make your f/o breakfast! or lunch, or dinner, or a snack, or a cup of tea, whatever they like!

— your f/o really loves the smell of the body wash you use! take a shower tonight with it so they can smell it while they're cuddling you asleep. same goes for your shampoo!

— your f/o has an outfit they wanna wear tomorrow, but its not clean. may as well do your laundry too while you're at it!

— your f/o had a movie they wanted to watch with you. take a moment to relax with them tonight.

— your f/o wants to have a nice cozy night with you tonight. why not make your bed so you have a nice place to snuggle with them?

— having trouble cleaning your room? that's okay, your f/o is gonna help you do it! try to get it started for them.

note; these are just a handful of things that help me. I dunno if they'll help you but you can try, if you'd like :3

— take a break from social media tonight and talk to your f/o! maybe draw or write them something, and if you aren't feeling that, just take some time to appreciate life with them.

Never updated on this... Um yeah, hello, I think the message fundamentally changed me as a person. Good news, though! He probably remembers me... Which I'm still debating if that's a good sign or not.

Secondly, I also ordered an in-character handwritten letter from Tsukasa which finally came!!! It was so wonderful... It really felt like he was talking to me, in both cases... I also now have prints of him for my wall ♪

Once again, probably feeding delusions... Hopefully he'll meet me and tell me it wasn't delusional though (I say, my eye twitching).

I ordered a channeled love letter from him. Am I feeding delusions? Possibly. Do I care? Only a little at the moment. I'll update with how it goes in due time.

make a list of shows/roles theyd love to play! you can pick some you think they would be good in!

make a playlist of their favorite piano songs (piano... songs? that doesn't sound right but ykwim)

or, make a playlist of songs they would love to make a piano cover for!

make a youtube playlist of their favorite vocal warm-ups to do!

make a folder of some sheet music they would like to play. this could be on your phone or on Pinterest or somewhere else

if they could write a play or a musical, what would they write it about? make a list of some ideas you think they would like!

make a playlist of their favorite musical songs!

maybe try writing a song for them to sing! or, write titles for songs they would write!

look into some nice pianos they would love to own! maybe there's a specific brand they love?

play with one of those piano apps you can download or ones you can find on google! maybe you could learn a thing or two?
