Hey

Life has been a roller coaster of stress and ennui. I see your messages but I have not been mentally invested in Sims or Tumblr enough to respond, sorry. Doing Sims stuff again sounds kind of fun, but it's also a deep rabbit hole. I'm currently unemployed but I don't want it to stay that way for too much longer. I also have little care for 2023 culture and the social media lifestyle that comes with it. I love sharing with the Sims 2 community, but I miss the old GOS and Livejournal days. In some ways I've moved on, in some ways I haven't. The world sure has moved on, though.

I miss participating in the Sims community; I've met some wonderful people, but I think this post amounts to simply dropping in to say a loaded "hello".

Hi Cassis! I've been trying to find the necklace from your post # 149015070067 (I know it's an old post, I'm sorry!) and I just haven't had any luck. Would you happen to know who converted it? Thanks so much!

Hi there! Oh, I'm sorry you've spent time looking because you wouldn't have had any luck. It's a necklace by Toksik I converted a while back. The hat in that post is from the same creator and I remember getting quite a few WCIFs about it. That creator had a strict policy so I never shared those things.

There's always drama about TOUs and I want to be respectful, but I think a lot of Sims 4 creators, especially, play pretty fast and loose with what rules there are and who has to follow them. I've aged just enough since I was last active that I'm not sure how much I care, to be honest. If Toksik created their own meshes then they are lovely and I respect that I could never make something like that from scratch, but converting them for Sims 2 is pretty inconsequential, really, so I might go ahead and optimize those conversions for upload one of these days.

If you just can't wait, though, feel free to send me a message off anon and I can offer what I have. The accessories might just be for AM, I'm not sure. :)

New conversion! KKB’s Request 4 Bathroom for Sims 2! Includes: bathtub, bathtub cover, bathmat, bowl, and bowl with soap dish. Plenty of recolors! The bowl and the soap dish are separate subsets. The bath cover and mat are cloned from Echo’s doormat. The highest poly mesh is the bowl with soap at F - 6672; V - 4464. Find the cover in Plumbing > Misc.

Here are just some simple decorative electronics by Toskasims converted for Sims 2. I wanted to have some. . . shall we say “less recent” electronics for my game so I actually converted these a couple years ago but I guess I never shared them and I’m not sure anyone else has.

Included is a TV, phone, VHS player, Commodore 64 monitor, and radio/alarm clock. The highest poly mesh is the phone (F - 4002; V - 2544). Find these in the electronics category, but another reminder that they are not functional!

Hi! I'd like to know if it's possible to separate the ha2ds 4 to 2 piercings conversion into left and right meshes - or into separate pieces - so they can be layerable with other earrings? While some combinations are a bit too heavy, the other combinations make for some pretty minimal ear candy. I hope you take requests, if not, that's okay. I appreciate you converting the set in the first place! Thank you.

Hi there! It is absolutely possible and I love the idea, but it is time-prohibitive as far as I’m concerned. . . there are a lot of individual pieces! 

I like the “ear candy” (cute term!) too, but breaking the four meshes into dozens is more of a project than I’m interested in doing. That being said, all are welcome to delete or rearrange the meshes as they please.

Thank you so much, Anon from two years ago! The long-awaited answer is. . . no. My Kyo sim is just my take on a real person, not an original creation. Anyone who also wants a Kyo in their game should create one! 

Now, if you don’t know who I’m even talking about, you just like the sim. . . Sorry!
