i think its really beautiful that in the flynn lives arg, the way the forum talks about sam really highlights the fact that he went to school in brazil to learn capoeira but he’s still just. so bad at combat on the grid. 

i dont know much about capoeira but by the basic definition, it should’ve been able to let him stand his ground in the games a little more against the acrobatic fighting of the programs? his general confusion probably let all that training slip his mind though, that makes sense lol
