“You only know, what you know.”
Credit is due to TedTalks for this quote.
You only know what you have experienced in your life. You can attempt to understand others but even if they are the same race and gender you still might not understand what they have gone through.
Did Malcolm X have it right to take on the persona of the extremist, so to shine light on the dark? Did the Clinton vs Trump election bring out what was inside us all along? Did Margaret Sanger, her sister Ethel Byrne, and Fania Mindell start Planned Parenthood in hopes to uplift the poor women in Brooklyn or to start a new age of genocide upon race and class?
You can’t answer these questions unless you are them. Think about the bathroom scene in VICE, about Dick Cheney and his Vice Presidency. The narrator admits there isn’t any amount of movie magic to bring back the thoughts Dick Cheney had when talking to Lynne Cheney about the decision to take the position of the vice president. This is because only Dick knew what he was thinking, and quite honestly he might not even know himself anymore because he is so old and has someone else’s heart.
No matter what your opinions are on the people mentioned above, you need to admit they are opinions. What you think is not fact. Choosing to acknowledge that you know, only what you know and the best effort you can make is to attempt to understand others is the only non-murderous solution.
If you are a murderer, I am sure you have your reasons, like Chuck or Berry.
JK, ya’ll need to get the fuck away from me.
lots of love,

“Happiness Is An Option.”
“Happiness is an option.”
Do you remember the PSYCH episode the mantra showed up in on a bumper sticker? What a great place to show up in. The whole show is based on an allusion that a man can have psychic abilities to solve almost any crime. One can only think about, is one or many of the writers, producers, or director think in terms of the theory existential nihilism? The theory where things only have meaning because you place that meaning upon them. Thus, happiness IS an option which you must choose because you are the one who is placing the happiness upon yourself.
existential nihilism isn’t a belief or religion where you have to show up to meetings and connect to others to prove your belief is more righteous than others. It is a thought you can have to only alleviate the load you are bearing. The load of uncertainty of a faith or relationship. Are you in a religion because you think or feel you have no choice? Are you in a relationship solely because you feel there isn’t anyone else?
There are a lot of different reasons why people are apart of different churches and love the things they do. BUT everyone should know down to it; HAPPINESS IS AN OPTION. You have the ability to make the choices that will bring you to your happiness.
lots of love,
<3S
*this is not talking about people who have serious chronic depression, that isn’t something I am directing at. I wish those with loved ones or who currently have debilitating depression all the love and happiness that they might find in something or anything.
