Lucifer going on a date w/ reader; he doesn't realize you're his date (SFW)

I was talking with my friends @citrusbatsandhoneybees and @canihaveacandycane about a cute scenario and I needed to share it!

It's obvious that you and Lucifer have feelings for one another but have clearly been tiptoeing around the subject

Literally everyone in the hotel can tell but they're so frustrated with you two that they decide to take matters into their own hands!

They set you up on a date! You don't know who it's with but Charlie insists you go out there and have fun!

Lucifer, with Charlie's insistence, agrees to go on the date; he knows she's just trying to help!

But when you show up, he happily invites you to sit down where his "date" was supposed to! He's much happier to be with you than someone he doesn't know!

It becomes very obvious that he doesn't know you are his date

But maybe that's for the best! Because he rants and raves about his newest duck project and how proud he is of Charlie

You like listening to him; you don't have to talk much which is good because you're internally panicking (you were gonna give Charlie a piece of your mind for setting you up with her father!)

The "date" ends and Lucifer goes back to Charlie to to her what happened!

"So dad, how was your date?"

"Ahh, well, my date never showed up, but by sheer luck Y/N was there and we had a great time!"

"Dad...she was your date..."

"I'm sorry, what?!"

"Why did you think she was there?!"

"I don't know! I thought she was just having dinner!"

"By herself in a really nice dress??"

"Charlie, now's not the time to point out my leaps in logic, you have to help me!"

Cue like ten minutes later, Lucifer is knocking on your door with seven different bouquets and thirteen balloons

He apologizes profusely and says he's an idiot and tells you that he'll take you on a real date tomorrow which you happily accept

I saw someone post that you were taking requests. May I please ask you to draw Lucifer being held in someone's lap and being cuddled, comforted, loved on? The other person can be non-descript, but preferably taller and bigger so Lucifer is surrounded with love and affection.
