what if sometimes the whole group do actual let's play videos - even if the muns playing a character are opposite genders.

I was actually thinking about that driving home today.

Entire games of CAH, Prop Hunt, etc.

It might take a little time to get stuff like that up because we're just getting settled into our muses and getting acquainted and learning what timezones one another live in.

Forgot about Jean and Marco! Whoops!

Jean was pretty much brought up thinking about the british youtubers/Joey Graciffa. Our amazing Jean was the one that added being an artist into the mix, which I think is great.

Marco is someone like Game Theory, except expanded to all media, like Armin.

who was the inspiration for all the channels? Like who did you base everyone off of, if there's someone.

When I created the AU, some of them were thought of last minute, to be honest. 

I had been thinking of a Rooster Teeth AU for a while, and always saw Eren a lot like Felix(pewdiepie)/Michael(Rooster Teeth). So, that carried over.

Mikasa I had trouble with because she’s such a versatile character. On one hand, she’s extremely fit. On the other, our Mikasa (eatthebread/benchpressmicasa) plays her so well that her Mikasa is practially canon for myself, and her Mikasa loves to cook. In the end, I thought more the former than the matter but it worked out in the end. No youtubers for a base.

Armin was another who had no real base youtuber. I thought it would be interesting to see his opinion on big titles in all types of media.

Historia is heavily based off Grav3yardgirl. Her channel at least. Historia’s history and problems are her own, but her unwavering support and love for her subscribers are based off the Swamp Family of Grav3yardgirl.

Ymir (at least ours) is a mix of Markiplier and Jacksepticeye. They yell, scream, do silly things, but are a lot more conscious of their subscriber base.

Bertholdt came from a few of my favorites (though they are female). Madeyoulook (madeyewlook?) and Glamandgore on youtube. Amazing SFX make up looks

Reiner was based off Man vs. Pin. I couldn’t see him any other way, but I could be swayed.

Annie is another I didn’t have a real base for. I thought she would have an eye for film though (kind of like Sawyer Hartman).

Connie I had a ton of fun with. I see him as Shane Dawson (a lot less vulgar). Lots of trolling, but he’s really a good guy when it comes down to it.

Sasha I was torn once again. To the left you have Nerdy Nummies and to the right you have Jenna Marbles. I was thinking a happy balance of both in the end.

But in the end, it’s the mun who has a real control of their muse so you should ask them.

eren jaeger application.

Name: Eren Jaeger

Age: 21

City, State/Providence, Country of birth: Capital of Germany, Berlin.

Channel Type: Gamer Channel - plays horror, advanture, mini-games, plus series games.

A little history: Coming from a family who was limited on money, Eren cherished the times when he got expensive things such as an XBOX, especially when it become something popular. At first gaming was just a hobby but than it became a job he loved doing when he got into computer gaming as well. Getting money for these games though is difficult when he really pays attention to it, especially as the prices begin to rise for both online and console.

When his family continued to move around a bit, it became difficult to continue doing what he loved, as they often stayed in hotels for only a few nights. But than Eren discovered Youtube, and being able to create a channel. His mother always loved it when he got a hobby so she encouraged him and helped him when she could and Eren was able to begin WreckItJaeger.

His channel wasn’t much at the beginning - he wasn’t very good at designing and editing videos. But he was able to find what he needed and people who helped him, which helped his channel grow and become known. When 104th Filming Company contacted him, his mother was the first to practically kick him out of their small home.

A little history: Bertholdt has had an interest in film making since he was a child. He dreamed about moving to LA and beconing the next Steven Speilberg. However, he father convinced him how stupid of a dream it was. Regardless, Bertholdt still had a passion for it, even joined a club for film making in high school. Eventually he went to collage, minoring in film production in secret. Once he got to collage, Bertholdt started taking classes in stage make up as a requirement. He had begun to really enjoy it, and even volunteered to do some makeup for haunted houses around Halloween. He never thought himself as great, but still, he enjoyed doing it

Bertholdt started his channel a few weeks after he went to a convention, and noticed many cosplayers doing makeup incorrectly (ie Scars were poorly done, black eyes were not correct, ect) So he decided to start a YouTube channel to show how to special effects makeup properly do these things as well as many other tips and tricks. His channel becomes especially popular over Halloween.

Once he was invited to join the 104th Filming Company, he moved out to LA. He has set up his SFX makeup series there, as well helps out with others if they need special editing done on their videos

Channel Type: Vlogging and Challenge type of channel. His vlogging usually consists of things he has upcycled and sometimes his art. Most of the time, he does challenges and mindless fun stunts. 

A little history: Jean grew up on Manhattan Island with his mother. Jean’s mother got knocked up when she was 19. Her boyfriend at the time left her the moment he found she was pregnant. Jean’s always had a hatred for his non-existent father. Art and going out doing things he’d be scolded for later become his release. Youtube was how he spend his nights while doing homework. When he was 20 years old, he left his mother’s tiny apartment and set out on his own. He did odd jobs to pay rent and begin to put out youtube videos of little tricks and stunts he did in alley ways of New York. He had barely hit 150,000 subscribers until he was 22. It was crazy surprise when the 104th had invited him. He has more subscribers now, but not nearly as much as others.

Historia Reiss' Application.

Name: Historia Reiss.

Channel Type: Beauty, body positivity, advice, product review.

A little history: Historia is the youngest of six kids. She got the ass end of attention and was picked on by her siblings and fellow peers at school who didn’t understand why she liked make up. At the age of fourteen, Historia developed an eating disorder, only making her tiny frame tinier. Both the make up and the control she had over her body made her feel like she had something at least.

She found fame in the beginning from MySpace, where being thin was in. Trying to both heal herself, and help her ‘friends’ on MySpace feel better, someone suggested she try YouTube.

It was there that she found a foothold. Not only a way to help herself, but spread the word on her struggles and how to help. Historia added in her beauty tips and it was as if over night her channel exploded. By eighteen, Historia felt like 100,000 was imaginable. She was making a life out of something she loved, helping people she cared about.

Two weeks before her 20th birthday, Historia got an invite to join the 104th Filming Company and packed her bags to move to LA and away from the toxic house she was raised. She hasn’t looked back.

Mikasa's Application

A little history: Mikasa is an army brat. Her father was a Marine that met her mother abroad. As such, she’s moved around a lot, which made it difficult to make friends. The girl wasn’t bothered, finding recreation in exploring neighborhoods extensively. Climbing and running gave way to more activity and before she knew it, it was her favorite hobby.

She has a distinct interest in health food from various regions too and enjoys nothing more than sharing that information with others to help them reach their fitness goals, once she became more social (when they settled down in America). She stumbled on youtube when doing some research and thought it might be fun to share her information as well.

Her channel boomed and Mikasa was too happy to accept the invitation to 104th. It would be an exciting way to leave home.

A little history: Before getting involved with YouTube, Ymir was dealt an interesting hand. Born to a teenage mother, she was given up to distant family on account of her mother feeling “too young” and Ymir being intersex. It was made clear she was not exactly loved and she turned to some minor drug usage and music as an escape. It was a twist of fate she was given an xbox and started to get into gaming.

As YouTube became a popular site and she saw commentators on video games, she figured she had more to offer. So she made an account and started recording, not expecting to get as many views and subscribers as she did. After some difficult housing situations, Ymir was offered a place in LA and she blindly took it just to get away from home. She was hired with the 104th Company.
