Personality: Arina is a spirited, kind, young White Mage with a knack for finding trouble. She has an outgoing, playful and eager attitude that tends to be very disarming to those who first meet her. A highly emotional being, Arina tends to act based on feelings rather than listen to logic, and tends to be rather stubborn and impetuous with her choices making it difficult for her to be talked out of actions she is set on seeing through. With an odd and eccentric way to her, Arina tends to leave those getting to know her quite baffled and found it difficult to make friends in her younger years, which lead to her becoming highly attached to those she gets close to very quickly.

Arina was raised in a Garlean run orphanage in Ala Mhigo after her parents died joining the fight for freedom

Emery in not her true surname, her clan name for this reason is unknown.

She is completely illiterate and cannot read or write. She loves being read to, however, and will often go to those she is closed to with a book she picked based on the cover to know what it is about.

Due to her lack of a proper education Arina is a highly curious individual. It is not uncommon for her to still have many questions on a topic one believes to have exhausted all possible answers for.

Because of her deeply inquisitive nature, it is common for Arina to wander off from the group with no notice if she spots something that may have captured her interest.

Much like Estinien, Arina is bad with finances when she spends gil, believing a good deal is one simply if it was spent to make you happy. She personally thought Estinien's hair tie was lovely.

Arina can sing very well and has a very lovely singing voice. Unfortunately, it is the one thing that makes her shy, and so she often will sing in her own company.

Urianger is one of the few people who can hold Arina's attention. As such to prevent her from getting lost and wandering off, she is often teamed up with him.

She has an aversion to most technology, and it is one of the topics she has no curiosity about. So much so that she has been known to sneak away or even fall asleep when topics become too technical for her.

Arina's love for food has lead her to been caught more than once attempting to eat or bite things that are not edible.

She is not very graceful, and can often be described as clumsy. It's not uncommon for Arina to trip over seemingly nothing or falling out of chairs.

Arina is scared of thunder and lightning, and hates being outside in thunderstorms. She will jump at every crack of thunder and cling to the nearest person who is with her.

It has been said that she is a huge tea snob and is very picky with her tea. It has to be the right temperature, brewed correctly, and have the right amount of cream to it and only sweetens it with honey.

Arina has a very deep rooted fear of abandonment. For this reason she is never far from at least a few of her fellow scions, and at times comes across as very clingy.

She is shorter than G'raha, but has a habit of standing on her tippy-toes around him, pretending to be the taller of the two. This started after the incident with him getting caught using a levitation spell in the forbidden archives.

Arina also loves playing in the Gold Saucer and often invites friends to join her for 'friendly' competition there. Though she is so highly competitive, and has been caught cheating to win, which she will actively deny.

The individuals that knew Arina's parents from Ala Mhigo recognize her right away, as she is the spitting image of her father and inherited his unique rose-gold hair color.

Talents: Singing, crafting, gardening, sign language, flower language/flower arrangement, origami.

Likes: Music, food, any and all kinds of birds, Korpokkur, nature, flowers, full moons, clear starry nights, warm weather, tea, fruit juices, sweets and pastries.

Dislikes: Coffee, snow, thunderstorms, when people go into her garden without asking, rainy weather, staying indoors, when people or alarms wake her up before she is ready.
