Week 2 1/15/2017
Today, after a few treadmill sessions, was my second outdoor running session of 10km.
I am starting to see improvements in the time - 10km for 50 mins with 3 minutes walk between 1st and 2nd 5km.

Treadmill Session 1/5/17
First treadmill session, as you can see my time wasn’t particularly good, but the purpose of this session was mainly to prepare me for the 10km run that I was planning to do on Saturday.

Suit Up
On top of the comfortable running shoes, one also needs a comfortable and also very importantly warm clothes that will keep you nice and warm during those early morning running sessions...especially in January and February.  Now I have the feeling that I am all set to start running and train for the half marathon. Wish me luck ;)

Fitbit Surge
Another necessity that I decided to buy was a sport watch. The above shows my choice - Fitbit Surge, the perfect companion that will share every single mile with me in the next few weeks and will keep me on track and most importantly will track my progress and provide me with all the information I need to meet my goal.

Nike Air Zoom Pegasus
$100 spent on a pair of running shoes... a bit pricey, but I think definitely an investment that you need to make when you are committing to run almost every single day in the next 10 week.
I took them for a spin today and I am already impressed with them, let’s see how are they going to improve my time.

New Year New You
As an employee of one of the greatest companies in the World, Yahoo helped me kick start my New Year’s resolution by providing me with a voucher worth $100, money which I decided to spend on a pair of good running shoes.

The Half Marathon Challenge
Hi companions, audiences, and challengers,
My name is Stefan and on 12th March I will attempt to run the North London Half Marathon in less than 1.50 hours with only 10 weeks of preparation and close to no running experience. Throughout those 10 weeks, I will keep a journal of my achievements, progress, and overall updates. Welcome to my journey and I look forward to seeing you at the finish line! Best, Stefan
