What I want to see in season 2!

- Natewyn dating for real

- Addy/Janae/Maeve love triangle

- Nate & Maeve having more of a friendship but also like siblings as she mentioned in the books

- Can Janae please sing again?? Jess has a great voice

- Prom!!!! (Depending on the span of the series because I have no clue how far from the finale they’re going to pick up from)

- I want their interpersonal relationships explored more and I want it to focus a little less on just murder and more on their lives with friends and s/o’s

- Can we have a Maeve, Bronwyn, & Addy friendship where they just talk and complain to each other ?? I feel like it could be funny

- LASTLY I know we are straying from One of Us Is Next, but can we get Nate having a picture of Bronwyn somewhere in his room and someone sees it?? Maybe Addy or Cooper?? And it takes place of the Knox part in the book?? That was always my favorite <3

Hey! I was wondering if you knew who the cast baby was?? In all the bts pictures I’m seeing on tumblr, they’re with a baby. And even in Chib’s most recent post. I was just curious I feel like I missed something & im new to the fandom lol

Hm I never even noticed this before… I just went and looked on Chib’s post and saw. I’m not sure all. Maybe it’s just a crew member’s or someone’s family came to visit!

What do you hope to see from Nate in the next season? What will make him finally realize that he doesn’t need to keep pushing Bronwyn away?

I want to see some scenes of Maeve and Nate bonding!

Next season I hope to see Nate become more confident with himself and to be open to the idea rhag someone loves him. I think he’s so scared to let people in and honestly doesn’t trust himself since people label him as the “bad” guy.

I think he’ll realize he doesn’t need to keep pushing Bronwyn away when he sees how much better he is when he’s with her. I also think if season 2 starts with them “fighting” he won’t be able to take seeing her upset.

I also want the Maeve / Nate sibling-like relationship that they had in OOUIN!!

I hope to see addy and nate friendship develop more. They already lay the groundwork for it with some of their scenes in s1, so the potential is there! Its one of my favorite dynamics in the book because it was so unnexpected and its just a genuine female x male friendship with no attraction/sexual tension at all and we don't see this very often. I also hope to see more of bronwyn x maeve because s1 barely had scenes of them and I love their bond in the book, although maeve is kind off in the show but still. The show already doesnt have ashton, so we need at least one pair of sisters to work lmao

I too want to see Addy & Nate!! I love their friendship sm in the books and I feel like it would be great to see on the show as well! They would have some really funny scenes.

Also I agree with Maeve and Bronwyn!! I want them to be closer on the show and have more of the dynamic they had in the book. I feel like it’s not too late to change that and they could really build a strong relationship between the two of them.

I’m so excited to see where season 2 takes these characters !

I also think that Addy might’ve been the one to shoot Jake in the moment. And it would definitely haunt her the most, plus she hates gun too.

But maybe I could see a scenario where it was Janae, since it would be like avenging Simon for her to have been the one. And she also had it in her to swing that bat at Jake. I’m not sure if Addy would be able to harm someone.

I do think Addy’s character would get the most potential drama out of being the one to do it. Plus everyone else has a support system they could probably talk to and get comfort from, Addy doesn’t have that so it would be extra heartbreaking if she had to carry that around until she broke.

I thought Janae comforting Addy in that moment was really sweet and I’m hoping their friendship (or potential relationship!) continues to develop!

Ok yes I like the thinking of Addy not being able to harm anyone because I agree. She’s like all bark no bite. She was so mean at school because she had no other outlet. I could definitely see Janae doing it also because I’m sure she was hurt over finding out what Jake truly did.

I would love for this to be a way for them to start Addy/Janae, I love the two of them together!!

who do you think killed jake? I dont think janae did it becaus she seemed the most calm of the 3. like, sure she hate jake while addy and cooper were close to him, but still. killing someone ia a big deal, I think she would probably look more distressed. so I think its either addy or cooper.

I think it was Addy and I think that’s going to play into the last question I answered!! Addy didn’t want to kill anyone but she just pulled the trigger to save them. She’ll be very upset over it and her anxiety will be back. I think this could be a good character arc for addy although it’ll be heartbreaking to watch </3

Do you think Addy’s anxiety will flair up in season 2? I almost thought Jake being shot would trigger it again since Addy seemed really freaked out

Yes I think addy’s anxiety will flair up in season 2. I think Jake being shot will upset Addy the most. 1) because it was literally her boyfriend and 2) it was a traumatic experience all around.

This could be a great way to introduce Ashton because they know we all want her in the story… idk anon I think you’re on to something 🤔

Was talking with some other fans of “One of Us is Lying” in the comments section of Karen’s latest post and nice to see others are thinking (MAJOR SPOILER WARNING) Simon might actually still be alive and the one behind the “Simon Says” texts we saw in the finale. I had this thought watching the finale last night and knowing how much smarter he was than Jake and since it’s changing so much from the books, that it would make sense for him to pretend he died (though wonder about his parents but they could be involved) get Jake busted for it but didn’t expect the other 4 to kill him (even though it’s self-defense). So he launches this new truth or dare game (which is what the plot of book 2 is just with different characters) and “Simon Says” actually is him. I know Janae is part of this too but the writers could change a lot to make this work. Depends if the show gets renewed but I’m totally on board with this theory and glad others are as well and bonus we’d get more of Mark.

If there is a s2 I need them to include natewyn media room scene and them going to the movie theater. also I hope they dont make brownyn date evan again since in the show they already dated in the beginning unlike the book

I’m really glad we got part of the media room scene in the finale! But I do wish we did get that actual scene because it was pivotal to Natewyn in the book!! Maybe they can incorporate it into how they get back together in season 2! And yes !!! The movie theater !!! I need them to go see Insurgent.

Yeah I really don’t think I would like her getting back with Evan. It would be pointless and Evan would kind of be dumb for taking her back after she left him for Nate l o l but we know he tried it in the books. I hope we get a season 2!!
