definitely agree that one of the ways he shows love is by food. see him spending hours in the kitchen making a good dinner, pots and pans and utensils floating around him as he hums a nameless tune. and he relishes in the looks on people's faces as they take their first bite, and he blushes lightly at their kind comments and words of praise. and he just loves providing sustenance for those he loves, especially because food was hard to come by when he was a kid; so he gets joy out of the small things, like always having treats on him, just to make sure no one goes hungry like he was.
