My day was full, but I was with God even in my quest to provide. Did you realize that making a simple decision to read the Bible every day is one of the most strategic choices toward joy that you will ever make? The Bible is infinitely more powerful than any other human answer for emotional ailments. The Bible is not simply a flat book. It is a dynamic source of heaven's power. So many people tell me that they don't understand the Bible ... and I tell them that's o.k.! Just keep reading it! We don't always read the Word of God for information, but we always read it for transformation! I guarantee that what your mind is not able to understand, your spirit will absorb! Because you really do have an enemy ... and he really does understand the power that a Christian extracts from reading the Bible ... the devil will do anything and everything that he is capable of doing to convince you not to read the Word of God! Discipline is never easy and always requires great focus and intent. Don't make excuses for why you couldn't read the Bible yesterday or are not able to read the Bible today ... just do it! Make the powerful choice to spend time every day in God's Word, and you will have more than enough joy to share with the world around you! My prayer for you today is that you will declare with the prophet, Jeremiah, "Your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart!"
