it's just so sad that robert's got no-one who genuinely wants him around right now, and no place he can really call home. even victoria keeps saying it might be better if he moved away. before he went to prison he was surrounded by family, he had somewhere he belonged, people who he knew loved him. probably for the first time since he was a kid. and now he's lost all of that :(

I have a feeling that John is going to isolate Aaron from everyone and turn physically/mentally abusive. He has the crutch now. He can use Aaron kissing Robert as a reason to beat him down, to make Aaron do what he wants because he feels guilty about cheating on him.

My stomach is turning because I can smell what is going to happen

Aaron’s barely contained soft looks at Robert are everything though because you just know deep down how surreal this is for him.

There was a time he probably would have done anything to see Robert sat back in the Woolpack. To see that snarky face he fell in love with, hear his one liners, watch him interact with family he hasn’t met yet.

And here Aaron is trying to contain all of these feelings but they’re still there bubbling at the surface. And even now it all still means something.

i'm so ready for aaron to be the one to help support and convince robert to address his ptsd, give me the fights and tears and breakdowns, for the "you got me through the hardest trauma, let me do the same for you," bring it alllll

vic wanting to talk to rob about prison and rob telling her he never blamed her for being in there, that he's the one that did what he did

vic telling him twice now that maybe he shouldn't be in the village but still going to get bubbly to celebrate rob's new job, wanting him to sleep well

think my favourite thing about this new era of robron is that even though aaron keeps saying his future is john and he tries to act all aloof and disinterested around robert, aaron is so in love with robert it genuinely seeps out of his pores even when he tries to pretend otherwise
