I created a Hubspot account on May 21, 2017 to automate “email, social media, SMS, and digital ads” (Hubspot, 2017). This application allows you to "capture leads and gain insights about your customers
... automatically gathers data from all forms on your website” (Hubspot, 2017).
"register your name on sites that you don’t plan to use" (Mac, 2013)
Use namecheck.com. Among other things, it lists if your name is taken or not on 8 popular social media sites.

I learned...that inspiration does not come like a bolt, nor is it kinetic, energetic striving, but it comes into us slowly and quietly and all the time, though we must regularly and every day give it a little chance to start flowing, prime it with a little solitude and idleness.

Internet and the Law Mastery Reflection
My original objectives were met except I thought there would be a little bit more about international law and I thought there would be some learning about the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Research on FCC lead me to http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/ECFR?page=browse that I find handy for law topic searches.
http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?tpl=/ecfrbrowse/Title47/47tab_02.tpl cites all the telecommunications Codes of Federal Regulations (CFRs)
In reference to Online Defamation, a Dendrite test consists of 5 points:
“the demanding party must make efforts to notify the anonymous commenter and allow a reasonable time for him or her to respond;
the demanding party must identify the exact statements made by the commenter;
the demand must set forth a prima facie cause of action, meaning it must present enough evidence for the demanding party, the prospective plaintiff in the libel claim, to win the case barring any defenses or additional evidence presented by the commenter;
the demanding party must bring forth sufficient evidence for each element of its defamation claim; and the court must balance the speaker's First Amendment right of anonymous free speech against the strength of the prima facie case presented and the necessity for the disclosure of the anonymous commenter's identity.”
When it comes to using evidence from mobile devices such as texts, emails and images, "... authenticity, reliability, and integrity" are key. (Thompson, 2013). A lot of times, these types of evidence are not being admitted into cases because
Companies need to prepare not to be liable to website visitors, customers, vendors and employees by being aware of standard public and private issues that affect their rights and the rights of those they deal with. Companies should be honest in disclosing how they function in these areas also. Keep up to date with new laws, online happenings that affect your company and what others say about you.
You cannot just arbitrarily use someone’s music, sound recordings or images without specific permission. CreativeCommons is a popular site that has free and paid images.
4 factors of fair use are:
“The purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes.
The nature of the copyrighted work.
The amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole.
The effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.
public domain”  (New Media Rights. (n.d.)
I learned about the Patriot Act, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA),
Lawyers make Ethical, Emotional and logical appeals.
Jurisdiction is a legality that can get complex based on jurisdictional laws.
SPAM is legal within certain guidelines.
One Cybercrime prevention software including for ransomware is at http://usa.kaspersky.com
I am much more aware of Privacy Policies and Terms of Use Agreements, Workplace Privacy and Copyright Law.
Online Defamation even in blogs, is becoming more prevalent in lawsuits.

IMK662 Web Analytics Mastery
My original expectations for this class were met, except I am not yet Google Analytics Certified but am still working on it. I learned how to use metrics to identify ways to improve ROI results for companies.
  I learned that there numerous kinds of web analytics in addition to Google Analytics, such as Adobe Analytics, Bing Analytics, Yahoo Analytics and Social Media Analytics.
  I learned about other Google offerings:
Google TagManager, Google Adwords (can get certified), Keywords planner, My business, Admin, Authenticator, Adsense, Content experiments, Data Studio - reports that tell stories and share.
The Google Network is “… places where your AdWords ads can appear” (Google, n.d.).
“Search Network and Display network: Google search results pages, other Google sites like Maps and Shopping, and search sites that partner with Google to show ads.
Display Network: Google sites like YouTube, Blogger, and Gmail, plus thousands of partnering websites across the Internet.”  (Google, n.d.)
 A few important Google Analytics Definitions
http://www.analyticsmarket.com/blog/google-analytics-definitions
 Learned from Lynda Web Analytics Fundamentals Tutorial:
How does someone find our site:  Search Engine, Another website, social site, Forum News, from an email or ad (ppc, campaign, direct navigation – typed in domain or bookmarked and returned (no referrer)
Bounce rate- visitors who leave site as soon as they get there. Reasons for leaving: Got information needed. Not the right site, …
 High bounce rate is 60-70%. Bounce rate is where users leave after hitting one page on site.
 Researching your Competition’s Analytics adds value.
 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are used in Web Analytics. They are a name given to something that can be measured to prove the success of a bussiness’s objective.
 Dashboards are ways Analytics tools display kpi related data.
 List of some WebAnalytics tools: Tableau, Taboola, Klipfolio, Clicky, Piwik, Kissmetrics, MixPanel, Woopra, TrueSocial Metrics, FoxMetrics, GoSquared, Followerwonk, Buffer, SumAll, Quintly, Zoho Social
 SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-Based) Goals should match up with business objectives.
H.A.R.D. (Heartfelt, Animated, Required, Difficult) Goals are more suitable to individuals than SMART goals.
I learned about the meanings of colors on websites. Orange is an Aggressive color that grabs your attention. It is great for Call-to-Action buttons. Red expresses energy and vibrance, sense of urgency; it increase your heart rate and sales. Blue means trust and security. Purple is calming and gives an easy feeling. Green implies money and wealth. White is when you want simplicity, cleanliness and space. (Formstack, 2016).
