The military franchise about military guys killing military aliens had one game where their art style was heavily military inspired (they had more ammo pouches, knives and battle damage) and that's actually really bad and evil and ruined the art style of the series forever and it's somehow the fault of the current company who owns the franchise (the heavily military inspired game was made by the previous company who originally made the franchise and not them)
