Given I've got a lot tumbling around my head all of the friggin time and am terrible at making sense of it- I don't figure publishing my rambles and tangents on the WWW could possibly be a bad idea! It could be fun...

So.

"What's on your mind?" Facebook asks. But Facebook is a shallow shithead who wants nothing more than to own you and to take advantage of you when you're drunk, or generally vulnerable otherwise.

One thing it is good for though, is setting you up to feel like shit about your integrity while all the desperate pretty ones watch their validation rise- tenfold for each new flattering trick they find on Pintrest.

Its true. Facebook is a giant value tracker with statistics on every aspect of our social life. Only its the most fraudulent source of anyone's... well, anything legitimate and meaningful.

It's fun though! I love building an alter ego. Problem is, no one cares to check her sources. No one actually thinks about how much dirt is built up after passing through this social filter. And how it affects those individuals offline.

What is it that people are taking from your image at Face[book] Value?

They say it doesn't matter what others think, but how much of your value and integrity is truly, organically maintained in your relationship with your Facebook self? Or in your 'friendships' with all those people who who passively '♥' your status when you post something cute, but hide your shit and throw labels on your name when you have something important or different to say?

Can we please talk about it?
