I’ve never been so mentally and verbally abused by a person in my life.

I’m in awe that I’m trapped in this toxic ass relationship and have the most limited ways out.

I cannot believe this is my life.

How am I supposed to raise a baby with this man child.

Manipulation is when they will blame you for your reaction to their toxic behaviour, but don't discuss their disrespect that triggered you.

Normalize seeing someone's lack of effort as their lack of interest in you regardless of what they tell you. Giving you all of the right words, but none of the right actions is called manipulation. When a person wants to be with you, they prove it.

My childhood trauma didn't make me stronger. it made me a people pleaser. it made me forgive way too much. it made me not speak when i'm supposed to. it made me an extreme empath.

Notes on my pregnancy

My partner, during my first and second trimester was messaging other women and commenting on nude/ half naked photos the entire time trying to convince me it wasn’t cheating because he wasn’t sleeping with any of them and the conversations never “led to anything”

My partner doesn’t like cats or my dog, and said he would do the litter box. When I reminded him he would throw a fit and wait a few more days until they shit on the floor. I eventually gave up on it and just did it myself against the doctors wishes becuase he wouldn’t do it

My partner has frequently stated how he doesn’t want my stressed out but constantly hides in the e garage “smoking”

Has yelled at me, screamed , thrown things

Told me to shut up and leave him alone

Told me I was annoying him

Told me I need to give him space

Told me I was stupid

Told me I was being over dramatic

There was an incident with a family member when I was 6 months pregnant. He was in my face screaming and yelling after I asked him to leave my home. My partner, instead of intervening and telling my family member to leave after refusing, continued doing dishes and let him scream and yell and intimidate me. To this day my partner said he didn’t want to get in the middle of it in fear of making the situation worse. To which I stated defending me wouldn’t make anything worse. But he disagreed.

My partner asked me to stop working because my hours were very long. I pushed back, ALOT. In the end I did quit my job because he said he would take on the financial responsibility. Since then he has told me we are not making payments on my car. Has told me that he “can’t afford it” and I should just let it get repossessed. However he pulled 15k out of savings to buy a car in cash.

I am now 9 months pregnant less than 3 weeks from term. Most all of these problems have not been resolved. And now I’m trapped because I’m about to have no car, and I have no job. And all because I put my faith in a partner who claimed to have my back and still did all these things to me and continues to do so. And like the idiot I am, I stuck around because I love him. And wanted to help him through this hard time. But now I’m not sure how much it’s worth it.
