 WHISKEY GLAZED MUTTON BURGER


Do you often find yourself asking “where should I go eat a Burger in Bhopal?” Believe it or not, we do too. 
And the first place that comes in our radar will definitely be Tattenham Corner Gastropub, restaurant at Hotel Jehan Numa Palace , a Heritage Hotel in Bhopal.
Its the world we live in now, Bombarded with Yelp, Wendy’s or Smokeys, it seems like everyone supposedly knows their stuff, and to be honest we have a hard enough time dissecting burgers, so we ordered whiskey Glazed mutton patty burger.


So The Mutton Patty, Perfectly grilled, subtly smokey and ‘melt in the mouth’ soft. The whiskey glaze didn’t overpower the flavor of the mutton.
If Burgers were personified, cheese would be the heart.
But what we have found is that the array of available cheeses continues to expand at the same rate as our waist band.

Since they have their own bakery, the Freshly baked Sesame Buns were the superlatives of contentment.
To Prove the authenticity of the dish, the burger was adorned with cherry tomatoes and not cherries.
What could be a better plate-mate of a burger ? French Fries!  apart from being beautifully golden brown in color, they were lightly salted with a crispy exterior and a soft interior, just the way our greedy guts like it.
The Dish was served on a wooden board, we don’t know if the chef intended it to be, but since we’ve eaten in a Michelin star restaurant, it was pretty card-carrying because the smokiness and the wooden board really complimented each other.
Like most of the things in this world, Our burger didn’t quite like the solitude, hence we paired it with our favorite Beer !
So next time, if you have a burger craving, do try this whiskey glazed burger to reach the stairs of heaven (not literally obviously) and team it up with your favorite beer,
Just try not to get too drunk on this Pseudo cocktail !!
