Hotel California was the fifth studio album by American rock group, the Eagles, released on December 8, 1976, in Asylum Records.
It was the bands first album with guitarist, Joe Walsh, who replaced founding member Bernie Leadon and the last to feature bassist Randy Meisner.

Rio was the second studio album from the English pop group Duran Duran released May 10, 1982 on EMI.
The album was produced by Colin Thurston, and the band demoed most of the material before recording it at AIR Studios in London.

Commodores is the fifth studio album by the Commodores, released in 1977. The album spent eight weeks at the top of the R&B/soul albums chart, the second of their albums to do so, and was their first Top 5 pop album. There is also a previously released extended version.
The band employed a variety of musical styles for the album, highlighted by the popular anthem "Brick House". With Walter Orange's deep voice on the lead, and Ronald LaPread's bassline, this track peaked on the U.S. Hot 100 at #5, and the U.S. R&B Chart at #4.

The album was his commercial breakthrough, holding the No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 album chart for nine consecutive weeks. A remastered version of American Fool was released on Mercury/Island/UMe on March 29, 2005; it includes one bonus track, the previously unreleased title track.
