Finished Picayune ! ! (incohesive rant time)

rlly liked the end scene was pretty… commentary on modern environmental degradation/general societal apathy was cool, w/Cyl returning to earth and realizing all the unnatural smells in the air.. “We can only give humanity what it wants, not what it needs”, (after Cyl “saves” humanity,) which I interpret as like. Even if humanity get saved from some cosmic calamity, once it’s all over, these cycles of power abuse/corruption persist,, its only these moments when we have such risks to our collective well-being that we will finally realize kinship n nobody will care otherwise? I love this game sm.. <333

I feel it’s more of an artistic experience for me.. (bro but not to forget abt the gameplay.. it’s like. Pure, unfiltered anger relief/catharsis.., emotional turmoil in the form of a game lol. visual chaos/overstimulation in later stages. Reflects the atmosphere well... switches ur brain off real good. I feel like the whole nature of how enemies are defeated in mass is like a mental exertion of power/control when a lot of the themes in the chars in game are subject/oppressed by smtg greater/they can’t control. The gameplay/mechanics are also a deliberate choice to enhance immersion/the themes in the narrative, so cool.-

I thoroughly enjoyed this.. ugh even the little top-down rpg lore moments were so sick. So much love and care put into this to make a cohesive + consistent game.. I can tell the devs definitely got into eachothers brains in order to make an experience that still feels very “indie”/personal..

I have a crush on the fuckass worm they’re so annoying lmfao. high key reminds me of some hypermasc edgy teenager that listens to phonk but also they're so silly and 🥺👉👈. I love them so much- Design fucks too.

Also, when the biker’s dialogue got cut out before dying at the letter “c” , I thought: “yea this guy would definitely call us a cunt .” LMAOOO- they were the only character(?) to say “fuck”, so. Thing is, she was talking in all caps so dunno if she yelled Cyl or not. xD
