Just letting you know that it is perfectly normal if your fictive's character doesn't match their "role" in the system, that's perfectly valid.

If Shadow the Hedgehog, arguably the most grumpy video game character in history, is the guy holding up your positivity and helping you put on a smile, that makes total sense. Bro was in charge of taking care of a sick child, of course he'd know how to comfort Maria when she was sad.

And just like that, Mario could be the guy scaring off your real life goomba's (shitty people) or Spongebob could be the guy having his iconic meltdowns when you can't manage to release that sadness. It will always make sense one way or another.

And... they're always there to help you face things you're not able to handle on your own. And I think that's the best thing about them, if not the only thing that should really matter.

In-system relationships can be so intimate.

Waking up together, opening the same eyes, and stretching the same limbs. Yawning in time and saying a good morning that only you who are involved can understand what it's for.

Sharing a meal, not only from the same plate, but with the same hands and the same senses. Deciding what to eat together, something that fits all of your tastes.

Curled in the same bed, in the same blankets, in the same body, drowzily mumbling about nothing and everything to each other. Joking around and feeling their sleepy laugh as if it were your own.

Living life, and inviting them to share yours and your time in it--performing your daily tasks in the unison of cofront. Seeing and hearing and feeling everything together.

Feeling them blush when you flirt or compliment them. Feeling their joy when you get them a gift, or how safe you make them feel simply when you're around them.

Enveloped in the same love, from the same brain, with the same feeling of care for each other palpable between you. Feeling the emotions you feel yourself, coming from the other person. Feeling their love for you, in the rawest, most direct possible way.

if you are an introject and you identify with the negative things you did in source thats ok. i sometimes see posts where people talk about how they didnt do the negative things in source and people shouldnt see them that way, and of course thats completely fine. i just think we should also talk about how some introjects do identify with the bad things they did in source. just as you dont choose your source you dont choose the memories you gain and what parts you identify with.
