i am tired of making these posts but i need help again. i'm sorry.

i'm a twenty-year-old jewish trans man. i am too physically disabled to work, and both of my parents are retired and surviving primarily off of SSI.

unfortunately, my mother has stage 2 small-cell lung cancer and stage 3 non-small-cell lung cancer. (message me or send me an ask off of anonymous for proof of my claims.) according to her oncologist, she has approximately one year left to live. her condition cannot be cured — her passing can only be postponed.

we are trying to make that final year a comfortable one for her, but it's hard when we're so financially strained. chemotherapy and radiation severely affect a cancer patient's appetite and sense of taste, and tend to cause terrible nausea, so she's very, very picky about her food. eating the wrong thing at the wrong time makes her sick. she has specific cravings that appear and disappear on a whim and it is crucial that i am able to afford the select few foods she's able and willing to eat. she's losing a lot of weight, and watching her wither away hurts my heart.

please help me so that i can help my mother; i love her more than i have ever loved any other earthly being or thing. i am again asking for around $100 for groceries to ensure that she eats, and an additional $50 for transportation if it's possible, but that's nowhere near as important as feeding her.

HELP SHIRA SURVIVE A TRANSMISOGYNIST ATTEMPTED MURDER

Shira is a Turkish trans woman who was the victim of attempted murder by a man on the street who realized she was transfemme. After he stabbed her, dozens of people walked by her on the sidewalk until a teenager stopped and helped her.

Shira is now in the hospital in critical condition. She’s undergone emergency surgery and will need multiple operations and long-term care to recover—physically and emotionally.

Shira has no close family nearby, is not accepted by public organizations in Turkey because she is trans, and she’s unable to work while she heals. Her friends are raising funds to cover her medical bills, therapy, and basic living expenses during this painful time.

As of me posting this, the fundraiser has €125 out of a €12k goal. If you can’t give anything to help a trans woman survive a horrific attack, please at least reblog this, set it on your queue, whatever you need to do to make sure others can see and help. Thank you.

Weighing out all my troubles is my absolute last resort option, but I really need some support.

There's not much i can say here that isn't said above, but this past few months I've repeatedly hit my absolute limit on what I can handle from living with my family. I'm both physically and mentally disabled (DID + fibro/CFS + others, if any of that matters) largely from their actions during my childhood, and needless to say, they don't offer much of a support network for me. I've been routinely exploited for their own benefit on multiple levels recently, and this accompanied further complex trauma processing has made my health decline. The only thing preventing me from reaching independence, besides disability and the hellish roadblock that is the SSI process, is the lack of support. Even if this isn't something I'm able to pursue immediately, just being able to build my savings and work towards this goal would be a huge feat for me. Thank you to anyone who considers helping me out in any way!

On the note of commissions: only pixel-type slots are open, as non-pixel work has been straining to my health the past month ( requires more hours sitting up straight using a tablet). In March, I was staying in a hotel where a front desk worker harassed and provoked me and my service animal. The worker called the police on us multiple times, and the county police called animal control and threatened to take my dog away. All of this is in violation of the ADA. Due to the stress of the situation, I went to the ER and now have about $3000 worth of medical debt. ANYTHING helps 🙏

I am also seeking legal counsel, and any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated. I've contacted a handful of law firms and ADA specialists with no luck thus far.
