hi so i paid my rent and now i’m getting my car towed today to hopefully have someone see if they can fix it. i’ll only have $97 bucks afterwards because it was literally $20 a day every day it sat in tow and i didn’t know that :) so i know for a fact that won’t be enough to fix it not mentioning i have to pay my phone bill tonight because if my car doesn’t get fixed by saturday (when i go back to work) i won’t have a way to ask someone to come and get me :)) i’ll update this when i know exactly what’s wrong with it and around how much it’ll be. i also have to mail the key to my aunt so the guy she knows can unlock it and that’ll probably take a good few days.

thank you guys for all the support and everything you’ve done for me. i wish i could be okay and believe everything is gonna turn out alright but i really don’t know this time.

I can’t believe I have to ask for help once again. I was really hoping that my last donation post would actually be my last one. Even though I was in a bad spot I was confident I could push through. But even after I was forced to make a huge purchase by my dad, my grandma I once again asking for another $200 from me.. This will completely drain my account. I already have to take ubers to work every single day, that’s 20 dollars every day, buy her groceries and give her pocket money… This is stressing me out to the point where i can bary get up in the morning. I’m starting to think I’ll never escape my family. I am so sorry to ask, but if you can, please donate so I can help her and still get to work…

god the bush fire situation is so fucking devastating as an indigenous person because not only is my home being fucking ravaged by fires and has been for months, but people only seem to care about the animals.

and don't get me wrong, care about the animals! i care about the animals! they're MY native animals, they're part of my culture and home and they're living breathing creatures.

but there's so so so many things in place already to help animals, shelters and charities and sanctuaries, and by all means help them more, but the government does not care about aboriginal australians. shit, scomo doesn't give a flying fuck about anyone who isn't a white cishet able bodied christian.

aboriginal australians are losing our homes, you say people aren't endangered but WE ARE. we make up a tiny percentage of our country, and a vast majority of us live in poverty and unsafe areas. not only are we losing our homes, we're losing our identity, our lives, our families. this land means more to us than it ever will to people crying over the koalas. the koalas mean more to us than they ever will to you.

remember who lived alongside those animals for thousands of years.

there's a million things i could say about why we need help more than the animals, but in the end white people will care more about what's small and fluffy than people of colour, especially people whose land they're living on, right?
