valerie didnt made staying after though, she understood the man worked hard to support his child. she couldnt fault him for that, she loved his child anyways so spending time with the kid wasnt a issue. she had put him to bed and came back out to read until javier had made it home. when he began to apologies she shook her head, “javier, i am just giving you a hard time. really it is okay. i dont mind, we had a wonderful night and gab went to bed with no issues. 

she sighed and shook her head, “hey, no.” she leaned over and placed her hands on his arm. “you are a great father, you are doing all of this yourself you work so hard…so hard to provide everything here. you cant be so hard on yourself and you are far from a terrible father.” she promised him. “you are just in a tough spot with having time, it wont last forever.”

Javier had been so wrapped up in his self pity that when Valerie placed a hand on his arm it brought him back down. It stabilized him and reminded him to be here not somewhere far away thinking about what was going wrong but it all felt wrong didn’t it? 

Instead of Gabriel’s mother being here to support him, to raise their child, to be dotted upon by both of them...to at least even try to be a mother to Gabriel, she was out there somewhere else. Valerie was the one that Gabriel had began to latch onto as of late and for good reason. She was the one that was here, tucking him in and reading him stories.

Placing his hand on Valerie’s he finally said it out-loud. He needed to tell someone the reason behind his late nights into work. Why he was using it to ignore everything else. Unfortunately, he was lacking in the friend department as of late and had no one else to say this to. ❛ She’s not coming back. ❜ It stung to say the words out like that but Javier had gotten over his love for the mother of his child a long time ago, but now it was different. He was bitter.   ❛ She’s giving up custody and doesn’t want to know anything about Gabriel.  ❜

Part of her wanted to hold onto Alejandra so she never slipped away from her again, the other craved the idea of someone to lavish in attention. 

“I have it on good authority that they do an excellent strawberry cheesecake on a stick here-” What a wild fucking sentence.  “- and you’re more than welcome to try some of mine if that interests you.” She started to lead Ale to the White Castle, glancing at the traffic around them to ensure nothing drastic happened and they arrived with their tushies intact.

Alejandra couldn’t help but be wrapped up in the others advances. She was usually the one craving for touch and looking for a way to touch others to meet that ache in her to be close to someone. To have Meeka be so willing and wanting to give it without her asking was something that was foreign to her, a lost memory from a time before. 

The cheekiness in Meeka’s statement was not lost to Alejandra, in a brief moment she was actually flustered.Cheeks red as nights spent sneaking around for stolen moments in their teen years flooded her.  As they continued their walk she regained it quickly. ❛ Well, I might actually take you up on that.  ❜

Hiatus

updated 09/09/2022.

 archiving this one. will purge the other one and start a new

updated 7/12/2022. 

----due to medical reason, I’m just going to dip. It’ might be for two months, it might be for three months or it might be longer. Not sure. 

so i’m keeping this short and simple. life.....life sucks. i have a lot of things that i’m going through right now and i really don’t feel like i’ll be in the right head space to be here. i’m not going to get into it, just know that i’m okay. 

 this all just means that i’m not going to be around as much as i do have a lot of things to focus on right now, a lot of appointments, school, recovery, family things so on an d so forth. i will still be checking in and writing when time and mental status permits but this year is not shaping up to be what i thought it would be. 

thank you to those who have checked in on me, i love you guys. you are amazing. and major shout out to @florxdexcerezos​, in the short years i’ve known them on this hell site they are truly one of the best things of this corner of the internet and i love them with all my heart and soul, and you should too. 

if you want to drop things that we had going, i understand but if you want to continue writing with me and don’t mind a bit of a wait while i work life out and get to the place in my life where i can write more often, i appreciate you and love you and cant wait to keep writing with you. 

hope your coffees are caffeinated, your teas never run cold and that your bookmarks never fall out of your books.
