ok i think Roulxs being in a polycule and being dumped by both of them is as funny as the next person, but did it fly over everyone's heads that the only reason he dated the weather couple was to one-up the fun gang? yknow, the group of teens he's been beefing with since his introduction? he thought THEY were a polycule, so he tried to be in a BETTER polycule than them. the funniest part about the whole situation is that he didn't give af abt the actual relationship, he was just doing All That to Win™

am i the only one that thinks the rose visual fit better because of the double meaning...? i thought it was much more subtle than the giant screen crack and it represented the romantic undertones and loss of agency for both Noelle and Kris in this route really well. yes the double meaning is disturbing but. everything about this route is. that's kind of the point?

We (the audience) now know that Leland wasn't actually a mole, and that he was only working with those people so he could make a good case in favor of Lazarus.

But... Doug has just confined in Axel about the possibility of Leland working for the enemy. Hersch only found out that's not the case because she was at the meeting where he had to testify. So from the looks of it, they're not gonna clear this up with the rest of the team... because they have no idea that they're suspecting something.

Now, we know that they're sending an assassin after Axel... so... quite possibly, they could assume that Leland had a hand in that...

Giving Franken pink hair in the live action was such a good choice honestly.

The movie rlly is just a 2 hour long episode, and it feels so natural because every ep from the series is essentially just a small movie with a contained story, with some occasional nods to a greater story, which the movie also did.

I was a little sad that Jet didn't do much in terms of action in the movie, and then i watch the behind the scenes and his va says the exact same thing. Vindication...

I had low expectations for some reason but the cowboy bebop movie really is this series at its peak.

I love how in the first scene where they're in the car together Axel is like "mannn this sucks :/ i didnt wanna get paired up w you..."

And now he's like "FINALLY. you gonna ask me out or what?"

Maybe it's because i just got fresh off of watching Cowboy Bebop, but a lot of the ppl who seem disappointed w Lazarus are either unfamiliar w Watanabe's directing style or have grossly misremembered what his shows are like.

I've also read from quite a few different people that they're annoyed that not every episode seems to advance "the plot", that the stakes are too low. Which is a valid gripe to have, but again... the more episodic nature of this show is 100% just Watanabe's writing/directing style.
