OotS worldbuilding lore drop time. Did you know that the kingdom of Xedor was heavily inspired by my home state? And it's capitol, Heirmare, is not only a play on words hinting towards themes that surround it heavily (Heir+Nightmare) but is a subtle nod to the two neighboring towns I've lived in the most since childhood which sound similar (for semi-privacy reasons I won't specify you're just gonna have to figure it out lol).

Also the castle of Heirmare being built into a massive clocktower surrounded by a plaza not only hints at the themes surrounding the doomsday clock and one of the main antagonist's ties to time, but also being a nod to a local historical monument that for many years I lived close by... I kinda miss hearing it's chimes each hour and the passing of the trains.

In this capitalistic hell its important to remember to shop locally and support small artists so that rich assholes see less and less of your money. If you want hand soap I know this person that does frog jelly soaps and they're fucking adorable they jiggle and they have a little frog butt

I see that in whatever semi-canon side universe the Mario Kart games take place in, Mario and Luigi are blue collar mechanics who work together in tire service and engine repair.

In light of this, one thing I really like is the way their shops are designed, with Mario having a roof bent to form a letter M while Luigi’s roof has a wrap-around neon banner to give it something of an L shape.

I like that. Nice bit of design there.
