Now that I actually have the book in person I've been noticing so many things about the cover that completely went over my head before.

Like, the Lumbre glyph being on Aurelio's breast while the Quetzal glyph is right in the centre of Teo's chest. Also the gold armbands from Lumbre looking like they're shattering? Love to see it you go king break free from the physical representation of your mother's smothering presence and abuse! On a slightly more worrying note Aurelio what the fuck is that crawling up your arm????

Well, I did it. I made a cloak. The SQA has it now.

In hindsight I probably should have done this in my free time as an extracurricular rather than for school. and a grade. But it has been done now, I'm waiting for my art teacher to send me the pictures she took of my portfolio.

Anyways Yadriel LOVES Encanto and Maritza does not get it until he forces her to watch it and they both cry. Yadriel is literally Mirabel idc. I have a hc that dancing and carnivale is a big thing in the culture of Quetzlan because of their proximity to birds and the importance of courtship rituals for birds. And because of this, all the schools in Quetzlan have a mandatory social dancing unit in core PE when it comes up to the avian breeding season.
