As a small study, I downloaded a program on my iPad called “Rough Animator” and practiced some exercises based on the Fundamentals of Animation. While I still have a long way to go, it’s entertaining to spend some hours being productive.
Here I’ve supplied ten artists who all inspire and interest me. Almost every single one of them I follow on social media ie. Instagram, Artstation and Twitter.
For the first week of Animation, we were given the task to complete a short flipbook animation, showing simple timing and movement. I was unable to attend the first class, but have seen the multiple examples from other students and have tried to follow in their footsteps.
As I am still attempting to get all of my traditional art supplies, I instead chose to practice this flipbook animation on my digital tablet. While it was in a rush, it was a fun attempt, but I will possibly change my object in favour of a ball and re-try before the week ends.
This is a current brainstorm for my final assignment in Creative Drawing: 3 Major Artworks. I want to base my works around popular mythological goddesses, and chose to look into the history of Moirai: The Three Fates.
