Have you ever seen a wilder Maton guitar than the 8 Ball custom mini 12-string? 🎱🎸This cool thang is about 12 years old. It’s getting better with age. Gav from Glass House Guitars fixed it and delivered it to me this morning, so I cut an acoustic session in the studio with it today. Thought of the day. One of my ‘pet’ peeves is when people say about a human who is behaving badly… ‘They were acting like an animal’. I have observed that animals are usually more socially aware than humans like this stage crashing hound stealing the show. Everything they do is for a purpose unlike homosapians who often wander around with emotional baggage aimlessly drinking, smoking, polluting and destroying everything in their path. 😂 Next time another animal behaves badly, their animal mates should say. ‘He buddy, please stop acting like a human’. 😆 🐶 🦒 🦓 Anyway, be kind to each other this weekend (and always), and book a ticket to rock out with us at the @kickstartsaloon_mackay in Oakenden (near Mackay) on July 1st. Thank you for all of the kind messages of love and support for our new baby boy. I’ve just started getting back to everyone. Also a big thank you to the AMRAP Australian Metro Radio Charts for the #2 this week with my current single JUST FOR YOU. If you ain’t heard it yet, please dial it up on streaming and dance. Meanwhile here at 8 Ball and Jessy HQ, we’re sleeping when we can, choosing names, changing bums, and giving our little baby a music education as he rocks to sleep. Yesterday was the greatest day of my life. Mumma Jessy gave birth to our beautiful baby Son. I got to deliver him and place him on her breast. He’s a big healthy 3.87kg and 54.5cm long. Our hearts are overflowing with joy. We’re excited for family life and all that’s ahead. Today the @agnesbluesfest have announce my band as the first act on their 2024 lineup. I’m also the Festival ambassador this year ahead.
