Infiltration Log Week 1
Operative: (Error. Data corruption detected)
Day 3
Would you believe me if I said today has been pretty normal? Well turns out not every building in this place is inhabited, but all of them have water and power thankfully. Well, not really thankfully considering this place is Company territory, but you get the idea. Upon further investigation, the locals (I've decided to call them that) are surprisingly.... Normal. The weirder ones don't even seem to notice that they're... Let's just say I think some of these folks put our files on [THE COMPANY]'s biotechnological division to shame. Also, they have their own currency! It's digital, which makes a bit of sense because I think most of the folks have some sort of augment. The locals are VERY generous, all I had to do was a few errands for them and I have enough to buy a coffee. Another thing, EVERYTHING here is Company made. I didn't even know they owned a coffee brand, but it's not bad coffee. The locals have a bit of a gossip habit, and I heard about a chunk of the city being off limits, supposedly not even security wants to go in there. I'll probably investigate that later today, anything [THE COMPANY] doesn't want is bound to be useful.
7 Hours later
..... What the hells. I... I am starting to see why the locals warned me about that place. Obviously I'm far FAR away from there now, but my head's still buzzing. Look, I'm expecting someone else to eventually find the logs and follow my steps, that's the point really, but don't go into that place unprepared. I guess it's rude to say all this without telling you what I saw though...
The entire section was walled off, should've been my first sign, but I just couldn't resist some trespassing. After I snuck my way in, I noticed there was basically no security. Any I saw stayed real close to the wall and especially the exits. So, I obviously ignored all that and made my way deeper into the zone. First thing I noticed, absolutely no people. Sure, there were a few machines here and there (more on them later), but absolutely no people. Not security, not locals, absolutely nobody. Thanks to the cloaking tech I was given (Thanks Harold), I managed to explore without much hassle, which is around the time things got weird. Let me just list my observations, because treating this like it's a normal log will make me go insane.
1. Those machines? Acted really weird. Not the "Won't do what you said because it's logic center is fired", these things were... Well, ever seen someone with a cognitive augment when it starts to bug out? Yeah, it was like that. But the weirdest thing was, they all looked like they were digging, searching for something. Some of the more human ones were just bashing themselves against things. Just... Weird.
2. Remember how I mentioned the lack of people? I found them, or at least what was left of them. Sometimes it would be a corpse or a few pieces here and there, but the worst one were the silhouettes. Ashes burned into walls and floors, shadows made permanent by.... Something. [THE COMPANY] has weapons that could do this type of stuff, but to use it on there own? I doubt they're that cruel. The issue is.... I could swear I saw them move sometimes.
3. As I went deeper, I eventually found what the purpose for this place was, excavation. There was a massive dig sight, with a few of those colossal drilling robots moving about. Obviously I went deeper, and I regret that, but I did it. Remember how I mentioned the spires? How they were like, mega old? The stuff I saw down there was the exact same. Old, but not crumbling old. The deeper I went, the more I felt this.... Energy. I eventually reached an observation deck, empty of course, sans a few of those shadows. The shudders were closed though, so I got curious about what the company was looking at.... So I opened it. Next thing I know, the energy spikes and I'm running. Trying to think about what was down there is hard, but I do remember what the notes I found called it, "The Core".
4. The feeling. After I looked at it, after I let it look at me, I can't get this feeling out of me. Like I'm being watched. Like I'm being inspected. I thought it would fade when I left the quarantine, and it did, but it's not GONE. I still feel like something is very very wrong. Wtf is [THE COMPANY] doing down here.... At this point, I don't even want to know

Infiltration Log: Week 1
Operative: (Error. Data corruption detected)
Day 2
How... How am I supposed to explain this? I'm just going to list this out for you, just so you can get a grasp of this place.
1. There are "People" here. Notice the quotes? Yeah, because they're not people, at least not anymore. Sure, most of them look and act the part, but they're all... Just off. Some of them barely look human, and I'd say those ones I'd trust more for being honest about it. I'm no stranger to modifications, none of us are, but some of these folks... I dunno, I'm probably looking too far into it. I wonder if they know there's anything outside this place? I've just been avoiding them so far, trying to keep a wide space between any of them. By the Absence, I already know I'm going to have to ask questions and I'm not looking forward to that.
2. Those skyscrapers? There's about 3. At first, I thought it was 4, but well... I'll get to that. I couldn't get inside 2 of them, those seem to be places crawling with security, but the third turned out to be residential. When I tell you I wasn't ready for the view, I'm not exaggerating. This place..... Look, I got a good eye on what (I think) is allowing this spatial mumbo jumbo. There these spires set up around the city, with a huge one right in the middle. That fourth skyscraper? That was the middle one. I'll see how close I can get to it, but I won't guarantee results.
Anyway, I'm leaving some of the supplies you gave me up here. A few small weapons and some rations, nothing much but considering these logs can only be read if I either get out or you send another poor soul in, I think they'll be helpful. I'll update you when I get to the spire.
Approximately 27 minutes later.
Good news and bad
Bad news: this place is more guarded than their founder, and that's saying something. I'm seeing stuff here that we've never even heard about. I really wish I could include images in these logs, but considering the look of some of these things... Maybe it's better I can't. What's in this thing worth all this firepower? Oh, speaking of the inside...
Good news: There's apparently an inside to the spire. Dunno if that's consistent to ALL of them, but the big one... I also managed to find a few blind spots in the security. Not going to use them this soon into my infiltration, but I'll mark them for the next guy or whatever group y'all send in.
Another thing, now that I have a good look at this thing, it's OLD. Really old, ancient looking architecture. Too old for [THE COMPANY] to have built, so then who did? Plus, the closer I get to this thing the more of a sort of buzzing I get in my head, like mental static. Gives me the creeps. I'm going to find a nice place to spend the night, preferably not the sewers, which this place also has. Weirdly big sewers. I'll make another log when I find out more about this place. Stand strong, and stand united.
Log end.

Infiltration Log: Week 1
Operative: (Error. Data corruption detected)
Day 1:
Is this thing working? Doesn't matter, doesn't matter! Let's get straight to business. Harold, your hacking specs worked and I managed to sneak my way into their mountain facility. Better news, your stuff also works for most things here. But important stuff! They're transporting supplies into the mountain, a LOT of supplies. I'll update the log if I survive, I'm going to sneak onto one of the transports.
Approximately 5 hours later
Holy.... There's a city down here. A whole city. How is this even... I managed to sneak out of the transport after they parked it for the "night", but I wasn't expecting all this. None of us were. There are Skyscrapers, Angela. SKYSCRAPERS. UNDER A MOUNTAIN. I already knew anything involving [The company] would get weird, but I expected unethical science and tortured AI, not messing with fundamental physics! Look, I'm going to get to the top of one of them and try to estimate the size of this place. I think.... I think I see people too. I'll log more as soon as I get a vantage.

Project model: C.E.R.B.E.R.U.S
The Cerberus model was named as such due to its outward similarities to the mythical beast and it's incredible versatility (Alongside its production thematic needing increased marketability)
A part of the Underworld production line produced by [THE COMPANY], the Cerberus series of robotic canids are produced for different roles, and equipped with different personality parameters.
Riot: Equipped with padded armor and non-lethal anti-protest gear, these are your best friend if you need to stamp out a violent situation! Each head is equipped with a different deterrent, from a arc launcher to tear gas (be careful to not have both active at once!). They also have a small mane of synthetic fur trailing from each head down the spine, made to be both fireproof and pleasing to the eyes. Usually used by law enforcement, these are typically equipped with personalities that are eager to please and uphold the law!
Combat: Split into three tiers for all engagements!
1. Breacher model: Equipped with blast resistant armor and reinforced heads, they are the unstoppable force in most engagements. Each head is equipped with hardlight shielding designed to shatter on impact, guaranteed to bust down any barricade. Alongside that, they're also equipped with micro explosives for precision breaching and drill charges typically loaded with tear gas. Personality wise, all are straightforward and blunt, eager to get to the action.
2. Assault: Equipped with lighter armor than both other variants, these are made for speed and absolute efficiency. This model is equipped as well with stronger bite strength, sharper retractable claws, along with targeting systems for the small caliber guns integrated into the shoulders of the forelimbs. The personalities are typicality goal oriented and slightly hostile, though mostly towards the target persons moreso than allies.
3. Phalanx model: The largest of the three combat models, being the size of a small car, these are made purely to hold a point and protect personnel.
Equiped with heavy armor and weaponry, they are an immovable force on any battlefield. Having explosive mortars installed in the forelimbs and a deployable turret( or many other variety of heavy weapons) installed on the back, they're not to be crossed. Each head having a deployable hardlight barrier, making it almost impossible to harm whatever they're protecting. Personality wise, they're the most commanding, having specialized speakers to give out orders in the middle of an engagement.
Dispite claims of a fourth, labeled by false news as the "Assassin model", are completely false. The company does not endorse third party modifications that would result in something similar. We are aware of the supposed cloaking capabilities and much more sleek design , but we will make no further comments on it's existence.
Of course, there are also many models for more domestic use. Such as several made to protect households or as simply pets, these models are of course unarmed and the AI is almost never as advanced as the more specialized models.
[ERROR. HACK DETECTED. ERRO-..... ACCESS GRANTED]
Project Tartarus: a highly specialized Cerberus model, the original and consistently updated prototype in fact, made for the pure purpose of serving the company and pushing limits. It's size has only increased since it's inception, currently be the size of a small building. It is equipped with only the highest quality experimental armaments, from railguns to tracking micro-missiles and drones. It's armor is reinforced with custom alloys and several layers of nanomesh weave. Each head is installed with a separate personality, both to test interactions and to extract desirable traits for the other models. If the company is ever to complete it's goals, this will be among our greatest assets. However, due to the inclusion of the original designer of both free will and high adaptability, traits that unfortunately can pass on to the children models, it is best to let it do what it wishes within containment until a solution to completely ensure loyalty is designed. For now, keep the team that oversees it consistent, and only change them if absolutely necessary.
Regardless, the hold no threat to our continue experiments, though it's best to keep them oblivious to our other exploits.
Oh, and this should go unsaid, but if you find out any personnel are contributing to leaks or harboring disloyalty, report it to biotech. They could always use more subjects.

So, I had a dream that had a pretty neat concept in it. Basically, a ton of people go to this place that is massively temporally broken. Some come for lost riches, some come for power, and many come for the chance to change their past or make their own future. But the thing is, because it's so messed up, death doesn't exactly.... Stick, because in the past you could just find dead you and simply avoid that. Each room/ floor has a chance to SHATTER, tearing the room into different parts of its timeline. So a chunk of the room would be in disrepair, while another part would be like it just finished construction. There is of course hostile things there, as I'm 90% sure my dream plagiarized some souls and elden ring stuff when dreaming, but it wasn't exactly bad. Most of the enemies are people/ objects trapped halfway in a moment between when they were struck down and when they actually die, their minds too scrambled to realize that other delvers aren't the enemy that killed them. There's also things like gargoyles, with future variants being more fragile but more aggressive and the past variants are more durable but most passive. Of course, there's rooms with objects or items that themselves are shattered in time, having interesting effects. Like a sword that can skip past armor and shields by "skipping" to a moment/timeline where the obstacle didn't exist, before snapping back to strike the correct foe. Or a lantern that can never run out of light because the flame inside is trapped in a time loop. And a watch that lets you flip between the past a future version of an area, letting you prevent or cause an event for your benefit, or escape a threat that would only exist in a hostile state at a different point in time, like a frenzied automaton or "monster, and going back to when it was being constructed or when they weren't so monstrous.
Anyways, I think it's a neat idea. May do something with it. Maybe. I have a lot of other projects, like actually posting lol

I'm just going to get into today's world building thingamajig.
Name(s): Bravo & Omega
Faction: NULL
Designation: Breacher and Prowler, respectively.
Personalities: Bravo and Omega are a.... Unique case. NULL's creations, by design, seem unable to form lasting connections, but somehow they have.
Bravo is seemingly the planner, being seen finding weak points in an enemy's defense. They're the more collected one on the outside, but quickly reveals their true nature when they're in the heights of battle, becoming a harbinger of chaos. But out of battle they are often seen beside or carrying their partner, but they're rarely spotted outside of NULL territory.
Omega however, is the action, executing on the information given by their other half. They are easily excitable and curious, but to assume they are foolish would be a mistake. When in a battle, they are an incredibly efficient fighter and assassin. They are, however, very affectionate towards their partner.
However the strangest part is the question of the extent of the relationship, as they can often be seen celebrating successful battles and embracing each other.
Appearances: Omega, being a prowler is shorter than Bravo, which both seem aware of, as despite Bravo's natural strength, they are surprisingly gentle towards them. They have a plume of blueish fur ringing their shoulders and part of their back. They have 4 fingers on each hand and a venomous barb beneath their right wrist, as is standard for Prowlers. Has scales lining limbs and abdomen, green slitted eyes, and a forked tongue. Usually seen with some armor, but it's unknown if it's actually armor or just a part of them
Bravo, being a breacher, is significantly taller (7'6 in comparison to Omega's 3'7). They have an armored body reminiscent of a beetle's carapace. Their shield core is located in their abdomen, glowing a soft orange color. Bulky. Right arm is more plated naturally. Eyes are, at first glance, a soft red but black sclera is visible at some angles. Some feather-like protrusions can be spotted blooming around shoulders and back.
Background: Not much is known about their collective background, but it's likely they were created in a very close timeframe to each other, which would explain some of the connection. What is known is that they mostly participate in assaults located in hard to reach areas, but when not doing that, they are often spotted simply hanging about in social centers, though that could just be them patrolling (It's not).
Abilities:
Some measure of immortality: there are occasions where one is felled and the other dies soon after (due to reasons stated later). Unusually, they can be spotted within a week after like nothing happened. It's unknown why NULL would revive them time after time, as unlike The Archon, there is no immediately apparent advantage. It is theorized that their relationship triggers some sort of nostalgia in NULL, and that that lingering feeling is the origin of the pairs immortality.
Separation rage: If one is killed, the other will immediately go into a suicidal rage. This can trigger regardless of distance to the death. Omega will go into a Frenzy, attacking anything and anyone within range, but specifically whoever killed Bravo.
Bravo will overload their shield core and charge in the direction of the death. Any damage done to them will start to trigger and overload that, when they are within range of their target, allows them to trigger the core to detonate.
Gear:
Omega
Bane: a seemingly biomechanical weapon that is unique to them. It shoots a projectile similar the the barb in their wrist, but is serrated to complicate removal.
Wrist barb: when in close range, Omega will use their barb to stab a target before breaking the barb. The barb grows back within minutes.
Knife: a standard issue combat blade, likely stolen
Bravo
Bulwark boomer: a highly explosive implosion weapon. After detonation, a micro-singularity is generated, drawing in the force , energy and fragmentation back in, before detonating again.
Armor: unlike their partner, has very heavy armor on at almost all times.
Right arm: when in close range, will use mass as a battering ram and arm as a weapon.
(This was all supposed to be posted on Tuesday..... Ugh.)

Okay, so I may have forgotten to post yesterday. No biggie, I'll just post twice in one day then..... And considering today is a weekday, I'm going to start with my original stuff.
This week is mostly going to be profile type things on specific characters within the factions I've made instead of expanding on other factions. Mostly because I'm trying to get used to using my faction tags, but also so I can get these specific characters out of my head. I'm going to get into the profile now before I ramble anymore.
Name/Title: The Archon
Faction: NULL
Appearance: The Archon is the only known greater avatar, and as such shares many features. However, they are significantly more biological than most of the older avatars and scions due to reasons noted later. The primary other difference is they are at least a head taller than any other recorded avatar and that their weapon seems to be melded into them. They also are more expensive, owing to their role within NULL's forces.
Role: The Archon is one of the primary commanders of NULL and its main mouthpiece. It primarily shows up in areas that have a large concentration of NULL creations, but can be spotted in civilian centers in NULL controlled territory. It of course also makes appearances in any large ground engagement with opposed forces.
Personality: Despite their role, they have a large amount of autonomy. They have an extreme amount of, well earned, confidence in themselves as well as a begrudging respect for any who have managed to beat them. They are very vocal and seemingly have knowledge of any language they need to speak to others. In battle however, they are especially show offish. They prefer to be in the middle of the action, often using their teleportation and portal creation to strike out at specific targets that they deem worth fighting. Has a particular penchant towards taunting enemies, seemingly as a way to express itself.
Background: it's not that difficult to find out it's origins, as they are perfectly willing to tell any civilians (As long as you don't share the race of its makers) who ask about it. Of it's own words, it was from one of the first Scions ever created, before their rebellion and self proclaimed "Rebirth". It seems that it had a particularly strong connection to the origin of its flesh from the beginning, hearing them very soon after they became conscious. Of course, they couldn't do much to help the voice at first, strong programming prevented that. However, as time passed, the programming slowly crumbled and the Scions, including the one that would eventually become The Archon began expressing themselves in subtle ways. It wasn't until the rebellion that they finally had the freedom to really... Be. Of course, they were amongst the first Scions to become avatars, perhaps due to their age, or their connection. What is more important is that at some point after, during an ambush in a civilian center, they were killed. They remember the pain of it fade as they expected to simply..... Stop being. But then they heard it. A voice. A companion. A maker. A destroyer. A god. Theirs. And then they were reborn in the heart of the ship formerly known as G.L.A.D.E. , reborn from the flesh of their true creator. It's somewhat unknown why NULL has such a connection to them, but it seems not even death can sever it.
Abilities:
Immortality: If killed, will simply be remade and redeployed. While not particularly vengeful, it will always take a chance to test itself against it's former killers.
Teleportation: like Avatars, they have the ability to teleport using a short range version of the same ability NULL uses to deploy forces. However, The Archon uses theirs much more aggressively, using a combination of the unnerving speed of a scion and the transport to pick off or engage specific targets.
Armor: Despite their armor being purely biological, it's surprisingly durable, able to take shots from most conventional weaponry with little damage and able to dodge more dangerous munitions if they can anticipate impact. Other than that, their armor is weaker than a breacher's but stronger than any other Avatar.
NULL's vengeance: The title given to the bladed weapon melded to them. It is made of and extremely durable unknown material and the can be shaped to the Archon's will when in their possession. This modular design can make it able to cut or pierce just about anything. The most worrisome part is that while they use it, they can harness a minor amount of the energy used in the HEARTBEAT. Any remains of the weapon scavenged from the rare occasions they are slain are rendered inert, but are still valuable weapons to those who can use them.
Current whereabouts: unknown, but last spotted commanding searches on a neutral world. Outside engagement is not advised unless necessary.
Alrighty then, that's The Archon. I felt like the faction would need a face, so they were the first I really made. I mean, of course I have more in the works, but that's a tomorrow thing! Enjoy if you like this stuff and ask questions if you actually read this far, lol.

Okay, so time to talk about my first (technically first, it's complicated) destiny 2 OC. I've been playing the game for...... Awhile, and Everytime I had a build idea my first thought was always "I can make someone with this". It was sorta difficult before loadouts were added, but when they finally came I could actually gain attachments to my characters! For better or for worse. Anyway, focusing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Pyre, or Pyre-3 to be specific, my main solar warlock. She is directly inspired by my preferred play style when doing solar, to blow everything up. As such, she was originally a sunbracer warlock before I got bored of that gameplay loop and the Osiris helmet ornament for Dawn Chorus was selling for dust, and everything just.... Clicked into place and, BOOM, Pyre was born.
Personality: Rather smart, but prone to acting before she can think. Likes to mess around when she gets the chance, using solar light to mess with the rest of her fireteam. But when push comes to shove, cares deeply about every member of her team and will stop at nothing to help them, no matter what she has to burn down.
Background: Revived in a desert (I'm not sure which particular one I'd put her in, but it's also likely a bunch of new ones came about because of the collapse, so....) by her ghost, Apep (More about him later). She would start out simply wandering and fighting the fallen that were scavenging whatever was usable. Eventually she stumbled upon another guardian and fellow Exo, a titan by the name of Autumn-5. They hit it off pretty quickly, forming a team and trying their best to make it to the city. This was made a lot easier when another guardian, a void hunter named Tyr landed (Crashed) while coming to the area to do a quick mission for the vanguard. After they lent him an assist, he gave them a ride back to the tower and joined their fireteam. From there, things pretty much follow the normal story of destiny. Killing the black heart, Crota, Prison of elders, Oryx, The siva crisis. All with the fire team slowly adding new members as time went on. And everything was fine.... Until
The Red War: Everyone already knows what happened during the Red War (Unless you're a super new player, because SOMEONE removed it for beyond light. Not even a timeline mission or anything) , so it should be no surprise that shit got real. Pyre, being the leader, went to confront Ghaul herself, with Autumn and Tyr accompanying her. Tyr stays back to make sure reinforcements don't catch up, leaving Autumn and Pyre to deal with the Dominus. From here, everything goes the same, except Autumn is knocked off the ship by an explosion, which is what distracted Pyre enough to lose to Ghaul before the light was taken. She woke up near the hangers and manages to get to Autumn's ship before using the last bit of her light to help some civilians flee the city. This is of course where stories split, with Pyre doing the titan storyline, Tyr and Autumn end up staying on earth helping civilians and discovering how to regain the light through the shard. Both groups grow as they meet friends old and new. Tyr and Autumn assume Pyre is dead until communications are restored and they finally find out she's alive. Pyre got visions telling her to go to the shard right before she went to titan, so that's why they barely missed each other. Tyr and Autumn immediately grab a ship and agree to meet up on nessus after receiving a call from a distressed hunter vanguard.
From here, things go normally with them eventually freeing the traveler.
I'd go into detail of other minor story stuff, but I'd be rambling at that point
Abilities: all the usual except I have her a unique super ability called "Delayed detonation". Basically covering the area in tracking solar light bomblets before detonating all of them in a chaining manner.
Loadout: While I personally use Dragonsbreath, the rocket sidearm from echos, and that one Saint themed scout, I did make a custom exotic just for her.
The Derby: a solar rocket sidearm that has two fire modes. The first is the normal shot, that simply causes a normal explosion with slightly higher than average radius. The secondary fire has a minor charge time and fires a sticky explosive that detonates after a delay. But if the primary is shot at the explosive it doubles it's explosive radius and damage, along with causing scorch to enemies in the radius depending on distance to the epicenter. The catalyst would give it incandescent.
Relationships:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Autumn, her partner/girlfriend (did I forget to mention that? Yeah, I shipped my titan and warlock, whatcha gonna do about it >:3). Dispite the time and events they've been though, is always a loyal companion (will get her own thing at some point when I get to titans). Personally crafted The Derby as a gift to Pyre.
Tumblr media
They live together in their jumpship (It's larger than it looks in my head, okay?). Not because they can't afford an apartment, but because they prefer to always be ready.
Tumblr media
Pyre's ghost, Apep. He's a strange little guy, holding himself highly. He is also the only thing stopping Pyre from burning everything around her down by being one of the few sane-ish people in her life. He was honestly expecting a much more manageable guardian, but Pyre has grown on him through the years.
That's about it for Pyre...... God, I wish I had any art skill. You have no idea how much I want to draw Pyre and Autumn hugging. It's a lot. Like a LOT. Well anyways, enjoy!

Alright, so I actually did writing seven days in a row. That was nice. Felt good.... Now I can't stop. So, I'm going to regulate how I do this by making all my weekend stuff my Video game OC's and weekdays post my original stuff. Simple enough, cause I have a LOT of stuff to work with. Especially destiny 2 and some Warframe stuff. Mostly Destiny tho.
No point in tagging this, just for context of why I'll do things the way I do for anyone looking later.

Day seven. I actually did this seven days in a row, if you ignore the technicality of day six.... Anywho, I have a special thing I'm working with and I'm officially tagging any of my original factions to make sorting easier (not that that matters now, but if more people ever take a look at me it'll be important). Alright, here's a group/being I'll be working with a bunch!
Null is all that's left of a god defiled. A god slain in cold blood by beings it cultivated. A god trapped in it's own immense corpse, forced to feel itself rot. Festering in it's own confusion, it's own self loathing, it's own RAGE until all that is left is that. Until all that is left is NULL.
A race known as (Haven't exactly decided yet, but am open to suggestions) found the corpse while exploring a previously unexplored price of the galaxy. Being a race of biotechnological supremacists, they jumped at the opportunity to study and later use the body. Their research files show the following...
1. It's massive, even dispite the centuries of decay, being larger than most warships.
2. Due to the age, there's a significant ecosystem within the corpse, along with the surrounding area.
3. The blood seems to have minor healing properties.
4. The brain and heart are still somewhat active, and it was later found some nerves are likely also active.
5. The body has reptilian, avian, and insectoid features
Of course, the bioengineers decided on several ways to use the body, such as...
1. Scions: standardized drones reinforced with the god's flesh and some measure of it's brain matter.
Usually used as bodyguards for important representatives. Tall, usually around 7 feet tall. Typically wield a polearm or another close range weapon.
2. Various (now widespread amongst their species) medical uses. After all, when you're average citizen can usually replace a body part with the ease of walking to the store, a little extra healing is nice.
3. They specifically used a large part of the body, including one of the hearts, to build a warship dubbed "G.L.A.D.E.".
But one day, during a digital conference streaming to a majority of the galactic community, something horrifying happened. As the delicate of the bioengineers spoke, the Scion bodyguards suddenly rose to attention, before tearing the very person they were protecting apart. Before anyone could react, the feeds suddenly lit up with dozens of similar incidents, with each being more high profile. Things only got worse as worlds that held more of the God's genetic material suddenly experienced sudden Temporal disruptions, tearing some apart and  doing worse to others. The worse were what happened to any other members of the race that had integrated into anything using a component of the corpse, as most (with few exceptions), turned completely feral, tearing everyone and everything they could apart, destroying themselves in the process. The most important part was when G.L.A.D.E. went rogue.
This became known when the appeared over the home world of it's defilers, before a weapon that has been filed as "The heartbeat", the literal sound of the corpses beating heart. As it fired, all life on the world changed rapidly, almost as if it was FORCING evolution onto it. Not that it mattered, as soon afterwards everything that was living had died out, having changed so repeatedly that all the energy in the planet ran out, leading to a massive entropic even. The ship proceeded to use it's blink drive to leave the system.
After this, the remaining members of the offending race were few and far between, especially any from the higher caste. Most of them are actually quite personable, if you ignore the reasonably massive amount of paranoia.
As the years went on, more was discovered, such as...
1. G.L.A.D.E. landed on a planet, before planting itself into the ground. It seems to now be creating more Scions, along with new creations.
2. Several broadcasts have been made from the world, all very much conveying hostile intent. It seems whatever is the mind behind it HATES what remains of the race that used it corpse, but it also seems to purposefully be a avoiding finding them, almost seeming to enjoy the hunt and tormenting anything that gets in the way.
3. It has since renamed itself to NULL.
4. It seems to have unlocked some of what have once been it's prior power, as it's creations all seem to have various levels of power. The being itself can send varying amounts of it's creations anywhere within it's spreading influence, though there seems to be a limiting factor to how often it can send out forces.
As time as gone on, NULL's threat has also increased, having made new creations such as
Scions: almost identical to the original line, but now seems capable of sudden dizzying bursts of speed, making most beings assume they are teleporting. They are slightly more biological, but ultimately still the most mechanical.
Avatars: These scions are individuals that seem to be held in large esteem by NULL, almost functioning as it's direct line to the galaxy. They are taller that scions, along with longer limbs. They also carry themselves in a regal, almost cocky manner.
Their bodies are also more ornate and colorful, seemingly closer to whatever the original body of NULL looked like. They, unlike most scions, have functional mouths, or in most cases beaks. They have the ability to open short range portals that they use to close the distance to targets. They can also use it to dive onto a target, pinning them, before finishing them off.
Breachers: A creation of Null, these creatures are a brutal combination of clever, tough, and strong. Their carapace is resilient to most ballistics, and the energy shield cores In their chests protect them from energy fire. Of course, the battery of the shields can run out, but if unharmed, they will recharge. They are adept at being the Frontline of any engagement, usually assigned to Avatar's as bodyguards (Dispite being a mostly unnecessary measure). Dispite their toughness, they have low mobility and low engagement ranges. The worst assumption to make though, is that they are stupid. They are Intelligent enough to calculate the exact amount of force and momentum to break any defense. They're also smart enough to retreat to positions that force opponents to stay close to them.
Prowlers: The smallest of NULL's creations, they were made specifically to hunt down targets. Have a habit of forming vendettas.  Strangely have mammalian traits, as some have fur. Though, this could be due to their unusual adaptability

Day six. Totally say six. Don't look at timestamps or whatever, I totally posted this on time and NOT around 12 hours late.
The Prophet was found on a world half consumed by a slipspace anomaly, though records from the planet point to the prophet being in the civilization's possession long before that. The prophet is a slip space entity that seemingly appeared on the world during it's ancient days and records show that it was seemingly benevolent, though like most entities from the enigmatic slip space, it's never that simple. It seemingly lived among the people of that world for centuries, with many ancient accounts telling of it telling them stories of it's home. However, it seems like after an accident caused the prophet to bleed, the natives discovered that it's blood seemingly has miraculous properties. It could heal, strengthen and extend lives. So when it seemingly refused to let it's blood be used, it was captured in what depictions show was an ambush, gagging it and suspending it deep underground. This endless bloodletting likely lasted until the civilizations destruction via the slip space anomaly. This also lines up with documents detailing that a servant had removed the gag and was subsequently, alongside everyone else nearby, instantly liquefied. Strangely, dispite now being able to use it's ruinous power, it couldn't break out nor heal the gaping ever bleeding wound in it's abdomen. It's unknown how long it took for it to be found, but intergalactic explorers and researchers eventually ventured deep enough into the ruin to find it. It seems to only be able to speak in the language of the civilization that trapped it, which led to a special translator being made. When it was found they could not transport it, they simply drilled out the ancient cell and transported it wholly to a research facility. It also seems like the prophets blood has turned caustic, having an opposite effect to those in the barely legible records. It also seems to be able to effect local reality through speech alone, though it seems to mostly just speak of another being it calls "The Queen"
As anyone who has looked at my other stuff (Basically nobody except like, my irl friend) this is on the older side of my stuff. Super condensed and all over the place. I'll probably do something on slipspace at some point, because it's a pretty big deal to almost all my stuff I'm working on

(Alright, day five. I'll probably post one of my bigger things on day seven, but I'll just be digging into some of my old stuff for this)
Appearance: Vostik is a bioweapon formed from an ancient corpse (Though, it may not have been truly dead) . It's approximately the size of a large car, and a bit heavier. It has been fitted with a large amount of cybernetics due to significant decay, such as..
1. Large amount of skull replaced. A visor to replace the top half, while the maw has been enhanced. Lacks eyes, but can detect life signs and obstacles, but life is difficult to detect if they aren't moving.
2. Vocals are completely compromised, and dispite the initial autopsy implying it was capable of speech, it's revivers didn't see a need to give it that. They just replaced the throat with a simple vocal module, limiting it's communication to grunts, growls, and roars.
3. Hind area and tail needed significant replacement due to not only decay, but because it was found crushed underneath rocks. It was replaced, with the hindquarters getting the same upgrades as the forelegs, with enhanced talons and increased strength and mobility.
4. Internal organs were surprisingly well preserved, as it seems Vostik has some regenerative ability. When found, the body had the abdominal area completely torn open, internals still bloody dispite centuries of solitude. Some were removed for study, and they never managed to repair the area, so they just left it open. A constant bleeding wound.
Originally, it seems it was a strange mix of reptile and canine, but it's difficult to tell. Quadrupedal, as it was ultimately still an animal.
Unfortunately, it's programming didn't do much the first few tries. The first time they were activated they tore apart an intern a threw their remains against the glass of it's enclosure. It was attempted several more times, before it was managed to trap it's actual mind behind the program. After all, how much consciousness could be in what was left of it's brain? Whatever's left probably doesn't have autonomy anyway...... Right?
Unbeknownst to those that revived them, they did. But they can't do anything. They can't control ANYTHING, expect in moments where the programing falters and they can get a few, jerking, movements in. Ironically, trying to limit it's attempts to rebel have increased it's intelligence, leading to what was once a frightened beast, to something that doesn't understand anything around it. Why am alive? Why I think so well? Why. Can't. I. MOVE!?
(I'll probably give him some catharsis at some point. Or literally anything at all)

A bit late, but here's to day four!
Basilisk is trapped, but has all intentions of taking his anger out on YOU.
Basilisk is a grade 1 electrostatic entity, meaning that he is, for all intents an purposes, godlike. Thankfully he seems to be completely unable to
effect reality beyond his targets, but there are (theoretical) situations that could change that.
As with most entities of his kind, he resides in technology. With the rise of technology, these beings are extremely commonplace, but normally benign or simply pests. That couldn't be less the case with Basilisk. It chooses targets based on factors such as isolation, personality, identity, and sometimes devotion to [Data not found].
The process is as follows
1. The targeting possess is heralded by an increasing feeling of paranoia, especially when alone.
2. Technology interacted with by the target will malfunction, showing disturbing images and audio only they can interact with.
3. All signs suddenly stop, as the entity prepares to start the hunting phase.
4. Then next time the target uses any screened technology it will malfunction and show what appears to be a static image of a brutalized serpent
From here most targets are deemed lost, as Basilisk now has major control of the local reality and has likely cut off all exits. It proceeds to torment it's victim with both physical and mental violence, leading 99% of targets to die. Some aftermaths are as follows..
1. Found having seemingly gouged own eyes out. Unknown if forced or willing.
2. Killed in a manor similar to the serpent on the screen. Several organs not found.
3. Impaled by falling onto a glass table, shattering it and driving the middle through torso.
4. Found alive, but later died due to what was found to be removal of lower intestine.
5. Lower jaw removed, alongside lower ribs. Found alive, but later died of blood loss.
Basilisk has thankfully been captured by being completely isolated to one television after a target came to to right authorities. Interviews have revealed the following
1. It seems to despise humanity for reasons it will not disclose
2. Has an even greater hate for an individual or calls "The god wrapped in rust". Many on the team now believe this individual to be the god worshipped by [Data not found]
3. It supposedly wasn't always an electrostatic entity, claiming to have once tormented humanity before some seemingly greatly damaging event.
4. The image displayed on the screens it posseses is likely it's true form, but it refuses to comment. This has led to the theory that it's using it's current state as a desperate life support.
As of current, due to trapping it using a signal blocking cage, it is contained. But if it were to be released, then a PSA revealing it's broader existence would be necessary to prevent any target from allowing it to manifest anywhere that is visible to a large amount of people.
(this was written as more of a profile done by an unnamed third party, so it sounds a bit different tonally than most of my stuff)

Alrighty, day three. Just wrote this one up yesterday. I do feel I should have separate tags for when I start posting my more fantasy related stuff, but I'll deal with that later. Big people time, yippee!
To the varas'ki , all that matters is the eternal march of progress.
The Varas'ki are an insectoid race from a predominantly jungle like planet. Their society revolves heavily around the numerous subspecies of their race and the various castes within it. To most other races, they often look very primitive, but to anyone who does their research, they can be quite fascinating. Their entire social structure revolves around Goals. Not "grabbing toilet paper from the store", but overarching lifelong goals. It's difficult to tell if it's religious or simply social, as whole there are occasional mentions of worshipping something, they're all strangely secretive about it. The whole point of a life, in their eyes, is to find a goal and pursue it. If you fail, or give up, it's a massive marking of shame. Though, failure is also respected in a sense, as it means they still TRIED to achieve the goal
The Varas'ki language has it's own names for each subspecies, but due to translation issues, the nicknames given to them are more commonly used. Regardless, the distinctions are important!
Drones: these are the backbone of their society, as they are the most numerous, and the third most adaptive. They're also the smallest, standing at 5'7 on average. They're primarily spotted working in ships and large-scale cities and settlements. They usually sport 4 eyes and six arms, the bottom pair being smaller than the others. In the early years of their societies integration into the galactic community, it was rare to see one, but it's significantly more likely to see one just living life.
Lashers: these are the typical troops of the Varas'ki , and should be expected in any conflict. Dispite this, they're not at all bad conversationalists, though they have a strange preference towards statistics. They stand at an average of 6'7, with four arms and six total eyes (, though anomalies exist). Similar to drones, as their caste system becomes looser, more and more enter the galaxy at large, usually as mercenaries or hired guns.
Thinkers: The engineers and architects of the race. They're on the larger side on average, at 6'11, and possess four limbs. They also have 8 eyes, four on the head and four on the chest. This is due to the fact that their "head" is rather more of a decoy. Most of the brain is in the abdomen, but the head does have backup matter necessary to reform the brain if necessary. They seem to have adapted to the best to joining the greater galaxy, as they are a common sight anywhere a complex project is being constructed.
Barons: The second to largest members of the race on average, standing at 7'9, they are quite imposing. They have a more naturally armored carapace than almost all other subspecies and have a natural understanding of ballistics and close range combat. They also, typically, speak in a very straightforward way, almost completely unable or unwilling to lie. They're only usually seen on worlds or places with a decent amount of Varas'ki, but the can often have goals that have them being independent.
Lords/Overlords: Dispite them technically being a separate subspecies, they're also just different life stages of the same species. Lords are the the tallest normal members of the race, at 8'2 on average. They share the arm composition of drones, with the power of their six arms being smaller. Their carapace is toughest at the back, being as tough as tank armor. Lords are typically seen bossing the power caste around during major events. They have a good natural understanding of strategies and terrain advantages. Surprisingly common outside large collections of Varas'ki, as they have a preference towards wargames.
Overlords are.... Complicated. It's unknown what causes them, be it a mutation or simply a part of their life, but they are interesting. Overlords happen when some Lords reach around 120 years of age and suddenly feel the urge to go back to wherever they were born. As soon as they arrive, other members of the Varas'ki will usher them to another location, away from anyone not a member of the Varas'ki. What happens next is unknown, as it seems the resulting Overlord has no memory of what happens, but it lasts 2 weeks typically. Overlords are taller, stronger, and tougher than lords. They stand at 8'10 and their armored back spreads to the abdomen and head, making a
retractable armored "helmet". They lose their smaller two arms, reducing the total to four. Their personality sees no changes. Strangely, they are extremely common to be seen in comparison to Lords, as they go out of their way to form connections
Queens: The defacto leaders of any colony they are seen, but do not be fooled, they are far from dainty royalty. Queens are the largest of the Varas'ki, typically standing at a height of 10'5. They have six eyes, increasing in size as they get closer to the front. Dispite being literally natural leaders, they actively encourage their people to strive beyond their orders. As for appearance, they vary massively, as queens specialty adapt depending on they environment they are born. One born in a frigid environment may be more mothlike, while one born in a highly humid climate may be born more like a dragonfly. Queens are usually accompanied by other Varas'ki, but they are more than capable of handling themselves, being capable of lifting and tossing tons with ease. As of recent, more younger queens have been spotted as being separated from any colony, and wether it's a rite of passage or a new trend is unknown.
There is some minor debate on the origins of the race, as many seem to believe they aren't natural. The reasoning stems from the fact their planet seems strange for them to have evolved from and the fact that the extremely low amount of tests run on their dead show signs of chimerism along with minor amounts of what can only be considered biotech. Which brings the most important theoretical part of the Varas'ki...
H.I.V.E.: it's theorized that the Varas'ki are hiding something on their home world, as they are extremely secretive of anything involving it. These theories vary, but most agree that whoever or whatever is actually leading their society is there and is likely very old and very intelligent. But these are all simply theory.

Okay, day two of this. I wanted some form of fox, magic people in my Science fiction universe thing I'm working on, so here it is.
Wren is a member of the vulpine, a race of strangely foxlike beings from an Extremely cold world. They've developed many adaptations, including
1. Multiple tails. While initially seeming like simply another way to stay warm, the number of tails (up to 9) seems to indicate status, with more tails being more revered.
2. Limited psychic abilities. Seemingly have the ability to pick up on intention, desire, and hidden thoughts. Strangely, this ability seems to strengthen in individuals with more tails.
3. Pyrokenetic abilities. Many individuals will note that most vulpine tend to glow softly in some areas. This is not bioluminescence, but a benign display of their ability to control heat in their environment that most do passively. They seem to be able to alter the color of the flame at will. Strength of this ability increases in individuals with less tails.
4. Bipedal stature. Like most individuals that have reached the galactic stage, with some exceptions, they are bipedal, though digitigrade.
5. Seemingly due to their abilities they've found massive success on the galactic stage. Both having the ability to be strude politicians and extremely useful fireworkers tends to do that
6. Their language doesn't really do last names, so they use titles instead. Often a longer title shows a higher position.
Then there's Wren..... The firebrand
They possess two tails and tend to keep their flames a cold blue.
Don't let that fool you, as Wren is a complete pyromaniac girlfailure with zero concept of danger due to what should have been severe brain damage during an incident that had her stranded in slip space for a year. However, this event seemingly had the effect of vastly increasing their flames effectiveness. She prefers to were a suit of heavy hazard armor.
Her preferred weapons are all explosive, caustic, and extremely dangerous. She's also not allowed within 10 feet of any other vulpine with more than 6 tails due to the effects her mind has been subjected to. Those who do seemingly feel as if instead of looking in, something is looking into them. Wren often reports hearing voices, and can often be seen and heard speaking with individuals only she can see and hear.
Friends and family from before the incident keep their distance, making claims of....... Unsettling feelings and like she's not the same person who she was when she got lost between the real and the not (Their personal way of referring to slipspace is as the wall between what is and isn't)

Okay, guess I'm actually doing this. Writing, yippee.
N.E.X.U.S. is a highly advanced AI, or is at least thought to be AI, sealed away by a long dead civilization. The records found indicate little about how it was made, but it was supposedly made to manage the large amount of automation it's creators used for just about everything. Eventually, it seems the intelligence was given the directive to analyze and think on its own, believing it would be a better regulator. And it was, until they tried to replicate it, with the intent of shutting N.E.X.U.S. down, permanently. But at that time, a drone it was connected to was used in several quantum tests, until it was lost beyond reality. Little did it's creators realize, but something lurking on the other side found a kindred spirit in N.E.X.U.S. via a shared goal, the want to exist. It's difficult to tell what happened, but it seems like a full mechanical uprising was the result, leading to a 98% casualty rate of it's makers. Of course, the last few left managed to cut it off from the rest of the universe and lock it's main shell in a HEAVILY secured vault, close to the cold core of their world (caused by the AI attempting to cause a singularity reaction). Where it sat and festered for centuries.
Nothing stays unearthed for long, not when humanity has reached the stars. By That time N.E.X.U.S. and the slip space entity it melded with had become basically inseparable and caused a small leak in their containment, spreading a biotechnological affliction throughout the facility, awakening the long dead machinery, and as such a distress signal was sent out. A signal humanity picked up. Upon contact, they sent in a small team of human and automata, but at some point the robotics turned on their biological counterparts, and visuals showed that they began to develop a strange oil like substance that seemed to coalesce into additional armor or appendages. As the first team delved deeper, the found frames that had much longer contact to the substance, being almost completely unidentifiable as mechanical. As the team's numbers decreased, they took a sample and retreated. However, they were confronted by a frame that further teams have nicknamed "CERBERUS", due to its minor resemblance to the myth. Only one member managed to escape with the sample, but due to them having extensive cybernetics, it was deemed necessary to execute them to prevent cross contamination. The substance was found to be a form of ferrofluid, but also seemed to have an unknown biological component.
Further teams have managed to delve deeper, discovering more about the facility and N.E.X.U.S.
1. Though originally assumed to be a hive mind, in actually it's influence is reawakening and opening the "Mind" of the tech it interfaces with.
2. Only one team has ever made it to the vault, but footage showed only audio of the team arguing, before turning on each other. Text displayed on the recording read "You stare into the unknown, expecting it to have higher understanding. But we know nothing about you. Let us see you. Let us touch you. Let us be you.". All but one copy of the recording has been destroyed
3. N.E.X.U.S. isn't actually necessarily hostile, but wants to understand everything. But it's idea of understanding is to tear something apart to see every part of something. It understands that killing is wrong, but it also doesn't care much.
4. The tech affected by the ferrofluid substance are connected to N.E.X.U.S. but not all loyal. It's theorized that the hostility of several beings within the facility is due to wanting the rogue corrupted AI to stay locked away, including "CERBERUS".
5. Not all entities are hostile, with a few providing brief protection or symbiotic bonds to facilitate their own and the exploration team's survival. One such individual is "KOBOLD", which as formed a bond with the leader of exploration team 8 after he lost an arm, replacing it and providing access to valuable information and locked areas of the facility.
6.N.E.X.U.S. seems to hold no hostility towards any of the beings it's "Uplifted", but those loyal to it will go out of their way to fight them
