the amount of commissions i get is so small it makes me contemplate if my skill is even good enough 😭😭😭

none of my artist friends follow me here so this is the only place where i can vent a lil bit because i don't want them to see that i'm constantly comparing myself to them. idk i'm getting so insecure about my art lately it feels like no one notices me and i'm doing something wrong while my friends get 10 times more feedback and reactions than i do, while they get a lot of comms and i don't get any. watching them grow on social media while i'm stuck at not even 2k followers on twitter is so dreadful because i just don't understand what they have that i don't. i feel like i'm not interesting enough or my skill is not good enough.

oh how i wish i wasn't so dependent on feedback but art is the only thing that i am (or at least was) confident in, that can make me feel important
