pour one out for trans peeps who have one foot in the closet cus they don’t want their parents knowing but wanna be out in other places like work or school,
who don’t want to change things about themself just to “pass”,
who “look cis” because they don’t have their hair a certain way, bind, pack, tuck, take hormones, or dress a certain way
who get misgendered, not out of maliciousness, but because they can’t tell unless you tell them
none of this makes you “less transgender” and less transgender isn’t a thing. you’re trans. it came free with your complicated relationship with gender

Here is a little comic I made about some thoughts I’ve been having recently. I don’t ID as transmasc, and I have noticed that since I’m nonbinary and AFAB, some people in queer circles (online and irl) label me as transmasc! This has increased since I started T. Much love to my transmasc siblings, but I don’t identify with that term, and it misgenders me.
I figured if there’s not a lot of acknowledgement or discussion about non-transmasc and non-transfem people who physically transition, I can make some myself :)

I dont really care if you use the term bisexual or pansexual, but what i DO care about is that you understand that bisexuality at NO stage in history was EVER trans-exclusionary. Bisexuality has always included trans folks, and non-binary folks, and the entire spectrum of gender between male and female, as well as Definitively Gender and agender. It has ALWAYS meant "attraction to more than one gender." It has NEVER meant "attraction to cis men and women only."
So, pan, bi, use whichever label you will. But do NOT buy into the recent-years innacurate concept that bisexuality is attraction to cis men and women only, because thats literally never been the case.

the other night I had a dream that I was watching a new episode of a TV show I like and my fave male character takes his shirt off and he's got clearly visible top surgery scars. Absolutely no preamble or foreshadowing in previous episodes that this guy was trans just. there they are. and I was so overwhelmed by emotion that I had to stop the episode and get up and jab my finger at them bc the people watching with me had no idea what I was crying about. for context we do not have a TV, but a school-style projector onto a blank wall. so here's an artist's rendition of what it looked like (and how it felt)

lesbians and bi women need to start saying crazy shit when theyre horny like how people here talk about men. like less ”aaah i want to hold her hand…” more ”i want to explore her body like a tapeworm”

What if I don't want to leave Texas? The only option for LGBT+ southerners should not be, "Just move somewhere else."
I don't have any attachment to "somewhere else". I don't have a community "somewhere else". I have to start from scratch "somewhere else", and that should not be my only option. That should not be the option people in big, northern, liberal cities give me whenever I talk about the political climate in the south.
I want to make the south safe for me and mine, not abandon it entirely. This is my home. These are my roots. We should be focused on making these places better, not writing them off as a lost cause.
