Under the last post someone on twitter recommended me a small fic AU where Xie Lian meets Hua Cheng before his third ascension, thinks that he is the one causing trouble in the village and carries him to get rid of him. And it was very cute so I drew a small sketch, I loved that dialogue.

Shen twin au chaos:

SY has been happily dating LBH for almost little over a year now. They moved in together two months ago and things are going very well. Now, his family obviously wants to meet LBH at dinner.

SY is terrified.

He has a secret. His older brother is actually the professor that kinda ruined LBH’s college life for whatever petty reason his gege had. Like actually ruined it. LBH STILL talks abt SJ’s teaching. That rate my professor report was so amazing SY printed it out and hung it in his house for a while just to piss his brother off. His brother stopped coming to his house in protest.

He found out his boyfriend was the one who wrote that by complete accident! He mourned having to take it down when LBH moved in. It’s still hidden in his closet behind all his figures and plushies he had to remove from his bed to make room for LBH.

So now he has to figure out how to tell LBH…or not tell him…No! That’ll cause so much more drama when he shows up if not. He has to get this sorted out. He has to.

How I think the convo would go:

LBH: your brother is SJ? Evil incarnate? The reason there’s the stereotype about teachers hating kids? The one who managed negative stars on rate my professor? The guy who sleeps with the dean to get out of trouble? HIM????

SY: haha….

LBH: WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME

SY: I didn’t want you to only be dating me to get back at my brother!

LBH: I would…..(pause) I would never!

SY: that pause is all I needed to know

LBH: Yuan-ge you can’t blame me!!!!

Brand new Head Disciple Shen Jiu decides to do some breaking and entering to make sure he hasn't gotten rusty and decides that since Head Disciple Yue Qi is out on a mission- and is a coward who won't turn him in even if he catches him- he's the best target.

He's not actually going to steal anything- though if he found like, a diary containing all Yue Qi's thoughts and feelings he'd definitely read it.

He doesn't find a diary though (that's a whole separate AU idea) instead he finds- barely hidden at all!- a ton of demonic cultivation manuals and items that indicate Disciple Yue is trying really hard to bring someone back from the dead.

(There's also a bunch of really detailed drawings of Shen Jiu's face but that's a secondary issue.)

Yue Qi comes back from his mission to find Shen Jiu in his room going through his necromancy supplies.

Shen Jiu: 1) You need to hide all this better how am I supposed to blackmail you about it if you don't even hide it? 2) What the fuck are you up to???

Yue Qi: Xiao Jiu is right, this worthless one forgot to get rid of these supplies when he found out Xiao Jiu wasn't dead.

Shen Jiu: You thought I was dead and you were going to make me a weird meat puppet about it?? Wait...when did you think I was dead?

AU of this AU where Yue Qi started making a replacement body to put SJ's soul into when he thought SJ was dead

This time he went the plant body route- maybe even using the canon mushrooms- and has like, a toddler sized body that looks like SJ growing under his floorboards.

SJ is like WTF we have to get rid of it you stupid dumb weirdo! During his rant though he pokes the body- which was waiting for his soul to inhabit it and at the touch 'wakes up' early.

So now they have a plant baby to figure out- it seems to just be developing it's own personality in the absence of SJ's soul.

SJ is Team Dump It Somewhere. But YQ can't- it looks so much like SJ! He can't be mean to it! So he goes to his Shizun like, "btw I have a little brother can I bring him here?" And his Shizun like "yeah sure whatever."

The problem of course is that YQ leaves to 'go get his brother' and comes back with a toddler who looks just like SJ.

So everyone is like, "that's just you and SJ's lovechild isn't it?"

Which they both vehemently deny but like, Yue Yuan isn't looking any less like SJ the older he gets...
