one thing i love about cloudward ho is that maxwell’s dad initially referred to olethra as a boy, as a son. but when he’s corrected and told olethra is not a boy, not a son, she’s a daughter, his only response is “oh! very good, well congratulations to the young lady.”

he may be an asshole of a father but he supports trans women.

I do think it's crazy that nobody acknowledges how horrible that final battle with Porter was for Gorgug. Like yes in the end they kicked his ass and Gorgug got his revenge and totally humiliated him and it was awesome. But also. Porter did fucking destroy him. Several times. He got crushed nearly to death he got his skull stomped on hard enough to instafail two deathsaves. He was downed in some of the most graphically brutal ways we've seen like. Five times in one battle. And each time got brought back with like a handful of hitpoints to do another attack and then get downed again. Like sure magic healing he's probably still physically fine but that level of violence has to be a little traumatic right???
