My hot The Pitt take is that Dr. Mel King is an adult who can make her own decisions and very well could fuck Langdon, but I don't think she would. From what I've seen of her character and how much I actually relate to her, she definitely likes Langdon and sees him as a favorite person, but she wouldn't (romantically) go for a married drug addict who has a child all while being her sister's primary caregiver and also starting a stressful career in ER medicine
