I know there's a chance someone will find out this way but yeah, it seems Strange New Worlds ends with a 6 episode season 5.

With this news, more than ever, I have a humble request to the people making the show:

Please give focus to the other characters, especially the new ones.

We've had so many stories about Spock and Kirk already. Please give us more with Uhura, or Una, or M'Benga. But especially the new characters. Give us stories with La'an, or Pelia, or for the love of god let us learn something about Ortegas other than how much she loves flying the ship. I'm already seeing a bunch of episodes in the season 3 titles that look very Spock leaning, stop yourselves. Stop it. You have a limited time to let us enjoy these characters, please. No we don't need another season finale about how important Spock is. Please.

So now that we know Ortegas has a brother, I hope we get to see their parents, who are alive and well and living on Earth doing unglamorous but fulfilling jobs that won't get them horribly killed and they love their children very much and support them in everything they do.

Look, I just want her not to have a horrible traumatic backstory. She joined Starfleet because space is cool and starships are shiny and she wanted to fly one. (Also, things don't work out with Uhura and her brother when Uhura realizes that she actually likes his sister and she's just projecting because she can't date her superior officer that would be weird. But we know she gets promoted at some point, so. What was I saying again? Oh yeah, this show needs to be more gay.)

We have the S3 episode titles and I must speculate

Ep1: Hegemony Part II, spaceship go pew pew, we got a shot in the teaser of what looks like the Gorn Ship gang going pew pew, if Batel dies I flip a table.

Ep2: Wedding Bell Blues. Whose wedding? Chapel and Corby? We do see a UFP Centennial banner behind the bar in the teaser, which is in 2261, so there's going to be a time skip at some point, doing it right off the bat seems to make the most sense.

Ep3: Shuttle to Kenfori. There is a shuttle, which needs a pilot, we have a pilot, who needs an episode....

Ep4: The one directed by Frakes, which he said is a murder mystery, title suggests it's also the one with the retro sci-fi bit from the teaser, so I'm betting it's the same episode, let's dress everybody up in silly costumes and it'll be goofy and fun and awesome.

Ep5: Through the Lens of TIme: Please not another time travel episode, we've had enough time travel. Or maybe this is the zombie Klingons and has to do with that time rock and Pike's fate.

Ep6: The Shelat Who Ate It's Tail: could also be time-fuckery (please no), or maybe Spock learns a valuable lesson/teaches someone a valuable lesson.

Ep7: What is Starfleet? The Q/Trelane episode? It's co-written by Kathryn Lyn so I'm guessing comedy.

Ep8: Four and a Half Vulcans: The one we got a teaser scene from and probably Patton Oswald.

Ep9: Terrarium: Hopefully a science problem episode, maybe the one we got a screenshot from way way back with Spock in a hazmat suit and a new science lab.

Ep10: New Life and New Civilizations: A quinessential Star Trek episode, maybe an in-case-we-get-cancelled-we-can-turn-it-into-a-series-finale episode.
