The baby cooes cutely and Adeline moves to bounce her a bit.

The Excalibur came out of warp, and Arthur leaned forward in the command chair when the view screen showed a Klingon ship attacking a Federation ship. “Ensign, open a hailing frequency.”

“Klingon ship, this is Captain Arthur Knight of the USS Excalibur, you are firing on a federation ship within our territory. I’m giving you one minute to withdraw, or we will open fire.” He warned on an open channel.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea. Don’t know what was punctured. The less movement the better. We have gurneys that are automatic. Just outside the door here and if you- oh- there it is. I feel it now… if you get me transferred and give me my phaser I can cover you a bit.”

“My captain leaves first- she’s injured-“ Bry manages as she fights off a Klingon guard.

The captain reaches over to get the doctor’s fallen phaser and starts shooting.

Three more Klingon fall.

“Captain Arthur. We could use a few men as backup. But we have our bridge back.” The Captain says from the floor.

The Klingon leader launches at Bryana and knocks her over pinning her to the ground.

“I can’t see her!” The captain exclaims.

Bryana screams as the knife is wrenched from her hands and plunged into her side. Luckily for her the Klingon didn’t seem the studying type. He missed most of the worst bits to hit.

Mattix uses the Vulcan neck pinch to take down another guard then starts firing her phaser.

One of the Klingons turns around and knocks her phaser out of her hand. She manages to get his knife off him and stab him with it. Pulling it out again.

The wound gushing as he crumbles to the floor.

“Who’s next?!” The Doctor shouts.

The voice crackled over the speakers.

“I have to get to the bridge.” The captain mutters.

“Doctor Mattix. Get everyone to the escape pods. Security. You’re with me.”

“With all due respect captain you can’t take on armed klingons in your current state.”

“No. But I can give you lot a fighting chance and take down as many of the bastards as I can.”

“Captain this is illogical. There has to be another way.”

“There isn’t. Get these people to the escape pods. That’s an order.”

Bryanna huffs.

“You heard the captain. Anyone who can walk. Help those who can’t. Security. I want you to go ahead of us and sweep the rooms. Children in the centre everyone get a weapon and protect yourself. Phasers set to kill.” She ties her hair back. Grabbing some emergency medical supplies. And readying her phaser.

“Let’s go.”

It’s a fairly easy trip to the escape pods. Only a few klingons to take out.

Once the last of the crew is out Mattix closes the escape pod.

“I’m going back for the captain. Ensign. You’re in charge of getting these people to the other captain. If we aren’t there in fifteen minutes. Leave.” And with that she sends the pod out and heads back into the ship.

She takes a few Klingon guards out with a Vulcan neck pinch. And makes her way to the bridge where. Rather predictably. The captain is currently bound and the Klingon leader is talking to the other captain.

Mattix creeps into the background. Hoping the other captain won’t give her away. She even manually opens the door so as not to give her away with the sound.

She makes eye contact with him through the screen and brings her finger to her lips.

He takes her hand before she can grab the coms.

Spock and Darcy were sent to inspect some new cargo that had just arrived, but due to some improperly filed paperwork it turned out to have not been Vulcan friendly, housing a microbe that sent them both into Pon Farr early. Without even warning the others, he orders Darcy to not touch anyone, go straight to her quarters, and lock her doors for quarantine. He does the same for himself and sends Kirk an alert about the cargo and it's contaminants so it can be dealt with before another Vulcan stumbles upon it

Bryana is sent to make sure Spock is alright. While Bones watches the sick bay. As there had been a bit of sickness going around.
