I can just imagine the little guy looking up at his parents with his big eyes and his tongue sticking out of the corner of his mouth or trying to grab something with his longer than normal but still small tongue, either out of the frog instinct or trying to be like his daddy after seeing Mort grab something with his tongue.

Imagine the baby is kind of toady, like right from birth the mutation is already there. Just like it was for dad.

A very tiny part of him is worried you're going to reject the baby. That you wanted a normal one. Just like his parents did.

The little guy is just so perfect to you though. All chubby and tiny, with those big freckled eyes... You don't think you've ever loved anything more.

He just has this huge relief. It's like starting over. He knew you'd be a good mom, he's just... Been through a lot, you know? But now he's going to make sure his kid gets the life he always wanted.
