I find it quite sad how Solo was abandoned by his blood family as a kid, only to give them another chance, then to have things end badly between them again and was even betrayed by the person his world revolved around.

Okay, so I absolutely think it sucks that Cody couldn't use the "Rhodes" name for years when he left for the indies and IIRC in early early AEW (I remember in the awkward promo that gave us the iconic "WHO THE HELL TOLD YOU TONIGHT WAS OPEN MIC NIGHT, BITCH!?" Jade said something about "and congrats on getting your name back.")

But at the same time it kinda makes some stuff about him in the Bullet Club that I've seen as I'm peeking more into that era (and Golden Lovers)...weirdly a little funny to me? Like "Yes, this is our evil bastard man who's not to be trusted and hungry for power. He's The American Nightmare! And his name? Cody! ...No. It's just Cody. One name. Like Madonna."

I am glad he eventually got it back, though.
