It's been one whole year, and I still remember it like it was yesterday. For once, people of all political parties set aside their differences and mourned all those killed in this terrible act.
A candle for the victims of the Orlando shooting.

like oil in a seed like fire in a stone I search the outskirts of my soul, looking for him but I forget that he doesn’t live with me, but within me

You’re presence still lingers here, haunting me, only because I’m still longing for you. I’m only dying inside, because I’m no longer wanted by you.

TL;DR A story about a girl who turned down a guy every time he asked her out. He brought a gun to school and threatened to shoot everyone if she didn't agree to go out with him. Her classmates blamed her for his threats.

For all you struggling in a DV relationship: this website is kinda like Robin McGraw's app; it has an escape button if your abuser is around. It took me to Google. Reblog the hell out of this and save a life!

7 Places to Hide the Money
*note: I couldn't find a website with this info that I liked, so I'm gonna compile a list myself. I will keep the hashtag list short and DV related* For those of you looking to leave, but need money to do so, here are some places to hide cash: 1. Tampon box- I saw this in a commercial once and thought it was genius. Men can be quite grossed out when it comes to anything Aunt Flo. 2. Behind a picture on the wall- tape it to the back of the frame, or inside behind the photo itself. 3. Underneath a dresser drawer- tape it underneath a drawer so that you can get to it from the drawer beneath it. 4. Inside an empty cleaning container- just put it in the cupboard behind some stuff. 5. Ask a trusted friend to open an account in her name- that way the statements won't come to your house. You would need them to withdraw the money when you're ready to leave, thought. 6. In the pages of a book- that is, if your abuser isn't a bookworm. 7. In a box underground- maybe in the flower garden so no dirt in the yard is undisturbed.

It’s kinda cool how we all speak different languages but the sound for a laugh is universal.
