There are sounds of cheers and crying and the two people hug each other as they exchange the flags. The man at the doorway then waved kisses to the crowd within the pride parade.

For context, apparently they were worried that maybe he's a nationalist because he was waving the Portuguese flag and some nationalists opposing the pride march were waving that flag. But upon interacting with him, it turns out he didn't have have a pride flag and he wanted to wave *a* flag in support of the pride march. So they had an exchange and now he has his own pride flag 😭🥹.

It always gets me that Rafa won his last title in 2022, just months before Roger retired. It's like he was telling the truth, 'a part of him left with Roger' that day. And it was a big part because Rafa never really bounced back. He never won another title. And sure he had a bunch of injuries but also there was no Roger waiting for him on the other side of the court, as he had been for the entirety of Rafa's career. In a way Roger leaving tennis took the fun out of it for Rafa and also gave him the permission to leave too, to follow Roger's lead - something he had done his whole life.
