Once again im gonna talk too much about fly behind the scenes cus why not!

So while doing the regular chapter, I often doodle when I am out of work energy and still want to do fly stuff so... lemmie tell you that the freaking peice of Rio I tried to do (originally Rio with a spirit Tanuki and Ocelot) ended up turning into me doing a stupid kinda slly yet messy sketch piece that I now love...

anyways moral of the story artists, don't give up on a piece just cus you can't draw an ocelot right, turn it into something stupidly awesome!

You may be thinking, why does she need so much, haven't we helped enough yet? While we complain about, let's say, the ever-rising price of eggs - 2€ here, $10 in the US - how much might these same eggs cost for Ola, in a country where all production is stopped & barely any food can be imported? Well, for Ola and her family, every single food item & necessity has prices comparable to what one would normally only spend on perhaps a trip or even rent - each egg, or fruit, or vegetable, is like a luxury item, and meat is out of the question entirely. On top of that, Ola is unable to work or earn any money, so she & her family are completely dependent on this campaign for basic survival. In this art piece, I wanted to portray Ola's dreams that were crushed by the current situation, where she can barely survive.

Help Noor Rebuild Her Life and Care for Her Children

I am Noor, a mother of three children: Yamen (5 years old), Tala (11 years old), and Yara (9 years old). I once lived a simple life in Gaza, filled with love and hope, but the war took everything from us.

My husband has been missing since the start of the war, and I have no idea where he is or what happened to him. Our home, our safe haven, was completely destroyed in a bombing. I had no choice but to flee with my children, moving from one place to another, with nowhere to call home.

But the suffering didn’t stop there. I was severely injured in an airstrike, leaving me unable to move my right hand entirely. I’ve undergone two surgeries so far, but my hand remains lifeless. My leg was also severely injured and requires ongoing treatment. I am unable to do even the simplest things for my children, who look at me with eyes full of fear and hope.

I traveled to Egypt, clinging to the hope of receiving the medical care I so desperately need. However, the cost of treatment is overwhelming. The surgeries, medications, and physical therapy are all essential, but I simply cannot afford them.

My children need me, and I need your help. I don’t want to give in to pain or despair, but I cannot do this alone. Every donation you make is a lifeline for my children to feel safe again and a ray of hope for me to regain my strength and stand by their side.

. Our house was completely destroyed

. My school was bombed, and my sister Nour's university was turned into rubble, which deprived us all of education. The war forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents that are not suitable for living

, especially in winter. Every day we live death, terror and panic a thousand times because of the continuous bombing of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the beginning of the war, we took refuge in my aunt's house, but it was also turned into rubble.

Imagine:

We have escaped imminent death more than 20 times,

and have been displaced between shelters more than 13 times. My brothers and I have suffered from many diseases due to malnutrition, and we need medicine constantly. If we stay in Gaza, we may lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza to a safe place. However, the travel costs are very high. We need more than 70 thousand dollars to leave Gaza. Due to the exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, insecurity, the ongoing blockade, and the continuous bombing, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity💔🙏, with the constant bombing and shrapnel flying above us? The bombing left us with nothing but complete destruction, profound sadness, and unbearable pain. Everything collapsed in an instant... our home, our security, our dreams, and even our most basic rights to life.

We fled death to refugee camps, but death caught up with us there. My husband was injured in a treacherous bombing, and his father was martyred before our eyes. Today, my husband bears the burden of caring for his mother and siblings—a family of ten—under unbearable conditions.

Nader ( @abdalsalam2000 ) is a Palestinian teenager trying to raise money for his family of seven (parents, brothers, sister-in-law, niece, and nephew) to escape the genocide in Gaza.

He's been active on tumblr for a long while now, and was one of the first to have their campaigns vetted: #4 on the gazavetters list! His goal is €50,000 which would enable his family to travel to safety.

Nader has worked extremely hard to raise these funds--tirelessly initiating conversations with strangers on tumblr, building social relationships, and promoting his campaign. He's raised €46,122 so far.

I can't imagine how hard it must be to have worked so hard, for so long, under such brutal conditions. To be so close to raising the total funds you need (92% of the way there!) but because you are just €3,878 short, your family is still trapped.
