I feel like people are so shook because of MCR's political stunt because they had lacked the media literacy to understand that they've *always been political.* The first song they ever wrote for the band was about 9/11. Honestly I feel like the only people complaining were the ones who listened to MCR during their "edgy" phase in high school and don't remember the real world depth their songs had.
