In Big Hero 6, Everyone's either a monster, a robot, or a human using tech-related super powers... most of which are produced by a genius teenager

In The Secret Saturdays, The soul of an ancient evil demon god is absorbed into an unborn baby, and now the 12yo god child can talk to animals

In Megaman Fully Charged, Everyone is either a robot with built in super powers, or a human who builds themselves a robotic battle suit (either partial or whole)

In Psychonauts, a bunch of people are born with Psychic powers, so we send them to summer camp and they eventually get a job at the CIA

In Son if Bigfoot (my own niche reference) A teenage boy starts to go through "magic puberty" right before learning his dad is Bigfoot and he inherited all his magical druid powers

Miraculous Ladybug is so funny to me compared to other superhero/magical girl media, particularly how they get their powers.

For example in My Hero Academia you're born with them and their usefulness is mostly a question of luck and genetics

In One Punch Man and Dragon Ball (and Prime Defenders - very niche reference) some rare people are born with them or acquire them in a supernatural event

In Sailor Moon you gotta be the reincarnation of a goddess

In W.I.T.C.H. (also niche reference) you're chosen by an ancient magical council

In Winx you gotta be an alien fairy princess

In Marvel it depends but if you start off as a normal person you have to at least be a genius and sometimes train for years.

In Carmen Sandiego it's purely technology

Feel free to add other examples in the rbs

And then there's Miraculous Ladybug, where a teenage girl has a box full of jewels powerful enough to destroy the universe, and if she likes you even a little bit she just might lend you one and let you tag along

How would Cecil react if a large stray dog started showing up around town and following him. A domesticated Wolfdog with green and white fur... He is a good boy, does he get head pets?

Cecil loves dogs (in fact back in his original dimension he had an auburn retriever named Sadie), so he wouldn't mind at all.

And yes they'd be the goodest boyo and get all the headpets and belly scritches.

Lol ok, that sounds pretty cute ^^ He helps him and Aaron looms over him, but then licks his cheek and says a gruff "Thank you" before disappearing into the woods but then after that a large stray dog with greenish fur starts following Cecil around

Cool ^^ makes me wonder how the boys end up meeting Aaron the Werewolf and find out he's friendly. like, maybe they go back into the woods to investigate and get caught in a trap or some hunting villager mistakes them for the beasts and shoots at them, only for the green floof (who totally wasn't following the two cute boys wondering through his territory) to scoop them up and bring them to relative safety

Like I said before, the "church", but more so Kaine, has an iron hold over the town and hardly allows anyone to leave that isn't his closest followers.

And even though Cecil is considered an "outsider", mostly by the townsfolk, he is still being held captive. And as seen (mainly through Tyson) anyone who tries to leave is severely punished if caught.

If you somehow manage to get into those surrounding woods, which run for MILES, high chances are you're gonna get killed by some sort of monster before reaching the supposed other side.

yeah that's true ^^; maybe it happens the first night. They meet Aaron in the woods and he seems nice so they let him couch surf for the night. then in the morning they meet his human form and he gets to hang out with them as normal

It'd be funny if Aaron usually hung out in his Werewolf form, cause like imagine Tyson gets up in the middle of the night to get a drink and finds a naked green-haired guy sleeping on his couch and is just like "Who the FUCK are you!?"

LOL yeeah that sounds plausible.

However that'd mean he'd mostly have to hang around the woods. Can't have a wolf, let alone a werewolf, just meandering through town. That'd cause panic.
